On Tuesday, Sutter County sheriff’s deputies arrested Tomas Castro-Guzman, 33, after a three-month investigation which began after he allegedly shared pornographic images online with an undercover police officer.

A search warrant of Castro-Guzman's home in Yuba City turned up "videos and movies involving children" on his computer, according to a SCSO press release.

Capt. Lewis McElfrish told the Appeal Democrat: "These are actual videos and movies involving real children."

Castro-Guzman, who also goes by the name Alfredo Martinez, has been charged with suspicion of possession and distribution of child pornography.

The suspect is currently being held at the Sutter County Jail on an Immigration and Customs Enforcement detainer.
