Illegal alien convicted of gang rape in California

On Friday, Alameda County Superior Court Judge Jon Rolefson sentenced Octavio Vivano to 52 years in prison for his role in the abduction and gang rape of an Oakland woman in 2000.

Last month, a jury convicted Vivano of four counts of rape in concert, and one count each of kidnapping for rape and assault with force likely to cause great bodily injury.

The Mexican national was charged in 2009, when DNA evidence linked him to the brutal attack.
Bay Area News Talk reported:

Prosecutors said the victim in the case was walking in the area of 33rd and Market streets in Oakland when a Camaro approached her from behind, she was struck on the side of her face and two men forced her into the waiting car.
The woman was then driven to a remote location in the Oakland Hills, where she was forcibly raped by Vivano and three other men, prosecutors said.

Vivano speaks only Spanish and required an interpreter throughout his court proceedings.

Vivano, who has been in the country illegally for many years, also goes by the aliases Ocatavio Bibano, Octavio Bibanomendoza, Octavio Bibiano and Octavio Bibano, according to the Alameda County Sheriff's Office.

He is currently being held at the Santa Rita Jail while awaiting transport to state prison.

Had amnesty passed back in 08 this wouldn't have happened. Instead she would have been raped by Americans. Problem solved.
