Immigrant Deaths Increase with South Texas Heat

FALFURRIAS - New numbers show how dangerous and deadly the summer heat has been for immigrants. Border Patrol says the number of immigrant deaths this fiscal year is up nearly 150 percent here in South Texas.

They found the remains of more than 100 people since October 2011.
Smugglers often leave immigrants behind to roam the rural ranchland around the Border Patrol checkpoint in Brooks County. CHANNEL 5 NEWS has documented the journey. So many have died near Falfurrias, county leaders have run out of room to bury them in a special section of the local cemetery.

Border Patrol agents say they're doing everything they can to rescue immigrants who get lost. This past weekend, agents saved six lives.

Oh well! It's hard for me to feel sympathy since about 90% of illegals are malicious in intent toward the American people.

Our Country has got to stop the jobs and freebies that attract these illegals. The Country of the illegals have got to do better for their people. It is outrageously out of hand that people are literally dying to get here. Good grief!

If dumb people would stay out of our country

and stop violating our laws they might not die.
