FRESNO, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — An illegal immigrant pleaded guilty Monday to charges related to dealing marijuana from his Bakersfield home.

The 40-year-old defendant, who has multiple aliases, was accused of dealing marijuana farmed in the Lompoc area of Santa Barbara County. More than 600 pounds of processed marijuana was seized leaving the Lompoc farm in 2010 and linked to Alejandro Uriostegui-Rodriguez - aka Jose Salgado Valladares, aka Guerrero.

Uriostegui faces a minimum mandatory sentence of five years in prison. After his release, Uriostegui is subject to deportation to Mexico.
