Immediately after Trump’s visit, Mexico makes STUNNING announcement

Donald Trump has been tough on Mexico when it comes to the topic of illegal immigration this election cycle, promising to not only build a wall to combat illegal immigration, but make Mexico pay for it. If it seems like punishment, to some extent it is – but when you consider the cost to American taxpayers from illegal immigration, it’s not at all unjustified. Trump plans on using a ban on remittances to Mexico as leverage, as that benefits the Mexican economy to the tune of $24-$25 billion a year. It would be cheaper for them to make a one-time payment towards the wall than suffer the lost remittances, Trump argues.

    Following a meeting with Mexico’s president, who suffered criticism for even daring to meet with Trump, Mexico’s government is planning to hedge against a Trump victory come November. As the Irish Times reported;

Mexico is to consider revoking a series of treaties – including the 1848 agreement that transferred half its territory to the United States – if the Republican candidate wins the presidency and rips up the North American Free Trade Agreement, according to a Bill to be presented to Congress.

The initiative, to be proposed on Tuesday by Armando Ríos Piter, a left-wing senator, follows last week’s criticized meeting between Mexican president Enrique Peña Nieto and US presidential contender Donald Trump, which inflamed public opinion and sparked a cabinet rift.

Mr Peña Nieto has faced a fierce backlash at home over what many saw as his red carpet treatment of Mr Trump, who has branded Mexicans rapists and wants to build a border wall that he insists Mexico will pay for.

“This is the first step towards establishing a public policy about how Mexico should react in the face of a threat,” Mr Ríos Piter told the Financial Times.

“This [Bill] is simply to protect a successful 22-year-old relationship [Nafta] that has helped both nations,” he said. “We want to defend that from a position that seeks to destroy it. We have to put it in black and white.”The initiative would make it illegal for Mexico to use official cash to fund the building of a border wall. If Mr Trump attempted to seize the $24 billion (€21.5 billion) in annual remittances from the US to Mexico to pay for it, the Bill would empower Mexico to retaliate in kind by impounding the same sum, probably through a tax on remittances heading in the other direction.

What a threat. While Mexico receives more money from remittances than oil revenue, the same cannot be said of us. The size of our economy (measured in terms of gross domestic product) nearly surpassed eighteen trillion last year – seems we’ll survive without the few remittances Mexico sends our direction.

LOL!! Mexico showing their true colors!! Sore losers.

It's time to start feeding and employing your own people without sucking on a country you hate and have always hated. This is showing clearly that Mexico is not a rational developing country. It's a parasite with no scruples, morals or laws.

Although I prefer peace, I'm adept in the art of war.
Mexico's threat sounds like they are thinking of using military force.

If they use military force, they will not end their country with their honor intact.

Ironically, this shows as well as any action or statement could that Mexicans believe in quid pro quo, therefore, when a 22 year old agreement is not quid pro quo, then the position of Donald Trump and his Supporters to correct that inequity is fully understood and appreciated by the Mexican Congress.

Americans of course would have no problem with Mexico taxing sums from Americans sending remittances to the United States. Americans in Mexico can just cone home where they belong or spend their money in Mexico while they're there.

Americans want a wall built to keep illegal aliens out of our country. Americans didn't cause this problem, Mexican illegal aliens caused this problem. Americans have every right to fix the problem with a wall and other measures, and Mexico has every responsibility to pay for the wall to stop the problem they cause.

Americans have every right, an inalienable right, to protect our jobs, wages, incomes, investments, businesses and economy from the ravages of an unfair ridiculous foreign free trade agreement that isn't free at all, because it's contributing to the bankruptcy of our people and nation. Americans have every legal right under the agreement to renegotiate the terms and take any additional measures deemed necessary to protect the business, financial and general welfare interests of our country and citizens.

This is the definition of sovereignty, something Donald Trump understands and appreciates all too well, while the rest of the world's parasites do not.

They can rip up, paper shred anything they want, it still doesn't give them that territory back. But they will have to take their people back if Trump wins.

A mexican bill means nothing to us. Their wheels are spinning - good. So glad they feel challenged, they have been getting away with murder and more; have not been good neighbors at all but sneaky enemies from educating their school children on how to sneak in and have anchor babies thru a comic book to allowing foreigners to pass thru their lands to enter USA illegally or to say "asylum".

The billions confiscated from drugs that crossed our border, could be used for the wall. Could be used for more enforcement, removals etc. Used instead of our welfare dollars for the births, children till they can be removed properly. Not sure what happens to those confiscated drug $$$$ billions now.
