    Immigrants linked to tourism

    Associated Press

ORLANDO, FLA. - U.S. Commerce Secretary Carlos Gutierrez urged tourism industry leaders Monday to support legislation that eventually would offer citizenship to millions of illegal immigrants.

"This is probably the most important domestic issue of our time," Gutierrez said at the Travel Industry Association's annual convention.

Immigration reform can improve the economy and provide a work force that can support the pensions of retirees, said Gutierrez, who emigrated with his family from Cuba as a 6-year-old.

Bills in Congress have triggered street demonstrations and produced divisions in political parties.

The travel association was relying on the hotelier and restaurateur associations to support immigration reform, said Roger Dow, president and CEO of the travel organization.

Importing illegals to tax for S.S. is an insane policy.....just start working on reforming S.S. with sound policies.

They are bringing in all these illegals for everything...cheap labor, SS, tax dollars.....and not taking into consideration the costs these illegals are adding up in health care, etc.

It's votes! Hispanics vote for Hispanics......and our stupid senators don't research enough to know this!
Do not vote for Party this year, vote for America and American workers!
