    Infamous ‘Mesh Mask’ Bandit – Connected to 19 Bank Robberies – Is Top Immigrant Right

    Luis Delagarza, 59, of Farmers Branch, Texas was one of the top immigrants rights activists in northern Texas. This week he was arrested in connection with 19 bank robberies in the Dallas area.

    FBI investigators believe they’ve arrested a man responsible for at least 19 bank robberies in 2013.
    Luis Delagarza, 59, of Farmers Branch is believed to be the “Mesh Mask Bandit” and was arrested for armed robbery of a Wells Fargo bank in Dallas in April.
    According to a release from the U.S. Department of Justice, an FBI special agent interviewed an employee of the Wells Fargo robbed on April 22 who saw the bank robber’s face as he entered and left the building.The witness later identified Delagarza in a photo lineup.Delagarza made his initial appearance in federal court Friday, where U.S. Magistrate Judge Irma C. Ramirez ordered he was to remain in federal custody. The next hearing is scheduled for June 25.
    Delagarza has been a prominent immigrant rights activist in Mexico for years.
    The Dallas News reported:
    De la Garza, a Mexican immigrant, spoke out about immigration policies, including those in Farmers Branch, where he has lived for at least a decade. He was credited with developing a low-power Spanish-language television station, TeleAmerica, in the 1990s and had served on a prominent advisory committee of about 100 immigrants to the Mexican government’s Foreign Relations Ministry.

    This country is not flooded with drug cartel and criminals due to our open border and the politicians who refuse to make sure it is secured.
