Kelly Osbourne's comments on 'The View' offend

    Published August 04, 2015
    New York Post

On Tuesday’s episode of “The View,” Osbourne made a inflammatory comment about Latinos while trying to bash presidential candidate Donald Trump.

Discussing his proposed immigration policy, Osbourne blurted out, “If you kick every Latino out of this country, then who is going to be cleaning your toilet, Donald Trump?”

Immediately afterward, an unsettling feeling came over the panel and it appeared as though Osbourne realized she had indeed put her foot in her mouth.

Jumping at the opportunity to school Osbourne, co-host Rosie Perez tried to interrupt, saying, “Latinos are not only …”

Osbourne tried to backpedal, saying , “No, I didn’t mean it like that! Come on! I would never mean it like that! I’m not part of this argument.”

In an effort to protect Osbourne, who will undoubtedly be subject to much scrutiny, Perez made a statement at the end of the show.

“I want to apologize to this young woman once again for being sensitive,” Perez said at the end of the show, according to E! News. “No, Kelly Osbourne is on our side and I was sensitive. My disdain should go to only Donald Trump, so I’m sorry, darling.”

She also sent out a tweet, which appeared a little desperate. “My apologizes @KellyOsbourne, I took your point wrong -#Trump #Latinos. My bad. Your heart is so pure & righteous. I adore you. @TheView.”

Kelly Osbourne released a statement saying, "I want to start by saying I ALWAYS take responsibility for my actions. In this particular case I will take responsibility for my poor choice of words but I will not apologize for being a racist as I am NOT. I whole-hearted f--ked up today. I don’t want to bulls--t anyone with lame excuses. Although, I was stopped mid-sentence by Rosie and couldn’t finish my point I will not let Rosie take responsibility for my words. I should have known better as I was on The View and it was live. I’ve learned a very valuable lesson. It is my hope that this situation will open up a conversation about immigration and the Latin community as a whole. By the way I clean my own f--king toilets."

In the irony of if all, Osbourne bashed Giuliana Rancic for making unsettling racist comments about Zendaya on “Fashion Police” back in February.

It’s now Osbourne’s turn to be dragged through the mud.

Glad to see this young woman has someone cleaning her toilet. Like millions of other Americans, I clean my own!

I guess it is clear that Kelly Osborne has Latinos cleaning her toilets! I am quite certain that no Latino has ever cleaned one of my toilets.

Oh the Irony that Kelly Osborne attempts to bash Donald Trump for making insensitive comments about Mexicans and she goes even further by insulting all Latinos! lol

Liberals Like That Illegals Clean Toilets So They Don't Have To

    By John Washington · Aug. 5, 2015

I am not sure if you have heard about this show on television called “The View,” which is going down hill. Mainly because it is horrible. It is a show where five people, usually four liberals and one conservative, sit at a table and discuss current events and politics. According to those on the show, if you sit at this table and are liberal, your opinion is correct and any conservative view is not. This show should be called “The Liberal View” because, let’s face it, when Whoopi Goldberg is on a show, it is leaning a hard left. The only conservative on there, whoever it is, usually takes a pretty hard attack on why they are not compassionate, loving, caring, and so on. Liberals love to say this because they think they have the moral high road to say this, but they don’t. Despite all of their rhetoric of love, compassion and whatever else they lie about, there are times when a good, line-walking liberal will stick their foot in their mouth. And it is great to see.

Recently, while discussing Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, the issue of immigration came up and Kelly Osbourne stepped deep in it. She decided she was going to make a snide remark about Trump. She asked a question to the panel on who was going to clean Trump’s bathrooms if all the immigrants left the country. It does not take a rocket scientist to know she was talking about illegal Hispanics. When the panel began pushing back on her, she tried to walk her words back. And it was unsuccessful. She looked like a complete and utter fool. The fool that she really is. Knowing that liberals think they are better than conservatives, I am surprised they did not boo her off the stage, throw rotten tomatoes, dead kittens, and burritos at her.

The media will not go after this though. It does not matter that Osbourne basically said that the only good that immigrants are to this country is to clean toilets. That is all they are good for in Osbourne’s eyes, according to her. I wonder if there is anything else she believes immigrants are good for. Maybe cleaning out horse hay stalls? Perhaps scraping animal feces off the bottom of a legal citizen’s shoe? Oh I know what she probably thinks is a good job for an immigrant: scraping off pigeon “leftovers” off of public statues, stairways and railings. These are all places that end up with bodily waste from some mammal, so this may be pretty accurate. I know that Osbourne would agree.

Simply put, Kelly Osbourne makes racist comments. But you will never hear about this from the mainstream media. One reason you will not is that Osbourne is from Britain, so she is not “ours” and the media will not own her. The second reason is that Osbourne is a lackey, a servant and a stooge to the liberal media, even though they will not claim her if it does not fit their agenda.

While Osbourne is making racist statements on television, there will be massive amounts of media coverage on Donald Trump for wanting to deport all of the illegals in this country to make us safer. If you agree with what he says, you are a racist, a bigot, hateful, and mean. You do not need to worry about the crimes being committed by illegal aliens against legal citizens. It does not matter that there are people who are in this country who studied, paid thousands of dollars, learned English, pay taxes and passed a civics test to become a legal citizen. Never mind those who wanted to follow the law and come here the right way. According to Jeb Bush, they are illegally crossing the border out of an act of love. If this is the case, according to Osbourne, these illegal Mexicans must really love scrubbing a toilet, making it shine and having their face in filth all day.

Osbourne is a typical liberal that is ruining this country. She runs her mouth and says what she is really thinking, but she will never have to answer for what was said. Way to go Kelly. How does it feel to actually say what you are thinking? Do you feel “liberated” now? You know the truth will set you free? Of course, you are just another liberal that has millions of dollars. Don’t worry though. The media will protect you because that is what it does. The only people that will see how much of a racist you really are will be those who read conservative websites. At the same time, you probably should be worried because you are an immigrant as well. Let me ask you this: Have you cleaned anyone’s toilets since you’ve been in America, or is that just reserved for immigrants that are south of the border and not from across the pond?

Who or what gives you the moral authority to make comments like this? Is it because you are not a conservative and you feed the agenda? Get off your high horse. You are a joke, really. You died your hair purple, shaved the sides, are on a failing television show and dress like a carnival sideshow act because that is what your life really is: An act. A show. A good laugh. You are an entitled little brat because of all the money you made piggy backing off of your dad. I don’t agree with illegal immigration at all, but at least those illegals cleaning toilets will work hard, even if that means a demeaning job like cleaning toilets, unlike yourself.

And yes, they should go back because they are here illegally.

Before you ask, yes I clean my own toilets. My question is, who cleans yours?

Kelly Osbourne echoes Obama on immigration

    August 6, 2015
    By Jon Feere, contributor

Kelly Osbourne's recent comments are ignorant, elitist and racist, but they do represent the thinking of many people pushing for increases in immigration.

While discussing immigration and Donald Trump on "The View," Osbourne attacked Trump's views (while misrepresenting them) and revealed her own racism: "If you kick every Latino out of this country, then who is going to be cleaning your toilet, Donald Trump?"

Her co-panelists were momentarily stunned into silence as Osbourne struggled (and failed) to defend her offensive remarks. The video is online, here.

Time magazine called it a "gaffe" and BuzzFeed called it "an incredibly offensive thing." Twitter users blasted Osbourne all day, keeping her name trending on the social media platform.

But it's not like Osbourne came up with this quip on her own. The so-called "pro-immigrant" crowd has been making similar arguments for decades. In November, while opposing deportation and promoting amnesty for illegal aliens, President Obama explained that illegal aliens "mow our lawns, make our beds, clean out bedpans." A video of Obama's offensive statement is online, here.

Similarly, former Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa (D) called for keeping illegal aliens in the country, arguing that "We clean your toilets. We clean your hotels. We build your houses." And by "we," he meant Latinos — the wealthy mayor is not an illegal alien (though at least one city in Southern California is appointing illegal aliens to government positions).

Last year, a failed congressional candidate from Florida, Alex Sink (D), argued that the nation needs illegal aliens because "where are you going to get people to work to clean out hotel rooms or do our landscaping?"

And for years, amnesty advocates have argued that we need amnesty and more immigration because Latino immigrants are "doing jobs Americans won't do." This includes former President G.W. Bush; a former president of the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF), John Trasviña; writers for The Washington Post; and many, many others. The Associated Press reports that Hillary Clinton "says many immigrants are doing jobs Americans won't do."

All of these folks think they're being pro-immigrant, but the reality is that they're just revealing their own elitism and racist worldview. The sentiment degrades immigrants while coloring Americans as lazy. Outside of the 1-percenters, pretty much everyone has a reason to find this commentary offensive. (As I've written previously, amnesty is really a gift to the 1 percent.)

The truth is, there is no such thing as a job Americans won't do. Most Americans mow their own lawns and most Americans clean their own toilets. Census Bureau data shows that of all civilian jobs in our economy, only six small occupational categories are majority immigrant (legal and illegal), and it turns out that even in these occupations, native-born Americans still make up 46 percent of the workers. What elites often think of as "immigrant jobs" are actually made up mostly of native-born American citizens. For example, of maids and housekeepers, 51 percent are native-born. Of butchers and meat processors, 63 percent are native-born. Of construction laborers, 66 percent are native-born. Of janitors, 73 percent native-born. There is more detail in our "Are There Really Jobs Americans Won't Do?" report.

There are many ignorant components in Osbourne's comment. For example, nobody is proposing to "kick every Latino out" (note that most are either our fellow Americans or legal immigrants). But many Americans do propose returning illegal aliens home (a population made up of a diversity of ethnicities and nationalities). But that raises a question: Does Osboune think that "every Latino" is in the country illegally? Logically, if one says, "We need to deport all illegal aliens," and Osbourne thinks this equates to "kicking every Latino out," she must believe that all Latinos are illegal aliens. Such ignorance would be comical if it weren't so degrading. Unfortunately, many in the pro-amnesty crowd routinely make similar arguments.

Osbourne later argued that she was stopped mid-sentence and couldn't finish her point. She should go ahead and finish her point and tell us whether she thinks the United States should be welcoming more low-skilled labor, or whether the country already has enough people desperate for jobs. She could tell us her thoughts on her home country's immigration problem right now, with foreigners attempting to sneak through the Chunnel. Does the U.K. need more cheap, foreign labor (for toilet cleaning, or otherwise)?

If Osbourne comes out in favor of better immigration enforcement, she'll be joining the overwhelming majority of Americans who are not calling for immigration increases.
