National Council of La Raza gave award to racist professor ("eliminate the gringo", Jose Angel Gutierrez)

The National Council of La Raza ("The Race") is currently leading a campaign ( http://lonewacko.com/blog/archives/007434.html ) to drive "hate speech" (i.e., opposition to illegal immigration) from the airwaves.

Meanwhile, back in 1994, they gave their "Chicano Hero Award" to University of Texas at Arlington professor Jose Angel Gutierrez, who had made this comment in 1969, well before having received the award:

"We have got to eliminate the gringo, and what I mean by that is if the worst comes to the worst, we have got to kill him."

The year after receiving the award, he said the following:

"We have an aging white America. They are not making babies. They are dying. The explosion is in our population . .. I love it..."

He might have followed that with "they are shitting in their pants with fear" (or the equivalent in Spanish), but that part's bad enough.

Will the NCLR renounce giving an award to someone like Gutierrez? If you get a chance, ask them.

Hillary, Carl Rove and Lindsey Graham all have been "honored" by this racist, ethno-supremacist front group for the Ford Foundation and the Mexican government. It's sickening and disgusting that ANY U.S. taxpayer funds are granted to LA RAZA. Just say NO MAS to La RAZA.
