Thread: Laredo sector border patrol agents rescue 35 illegal aliens in a tractor-trailer

LAREDO -
Border Patrol agents say on April 2, 2018, Agents at the Border Patrol Checkpoint on Interstate Highway 35, north of Laredo, Texas encountered a tractor-trailer at the primary inspection lane.

The driver was questioned regarding his immigration status and was referred to secondary for further inspection after a Border Patrol canine alerted to the presence of concealed humans and/or narcotics. Upon further inspection, Border Patrol agents discovered the 35 illegal aliens concealed inside the trailer.

The 35 illegal aliens were found in good health and identified as being from the country of Mexico. The driver, a United States Citizen, was arrested and the tractor-trailer was seized by Border Patrol.

“These criminal organizations view these individuals as mere commodities without regard for their safety. The blatant disregard for human life will not be tolerated. We will continue to work with our law enforcement partners to disrupt and dismantle these organizations and prosecute those responsible,” said Laredo Sector Assistant Chief Patrol Agent Gabriel Acosta.

The Laredo Sector Border Patrol will continue to warn against the dangers of people crossing illegally into the United States through dangerous environmental conditions.

All people apprehended by the Border Patrol undergo criminal history checks using biometrics to ensure illegal aliens with criminal histories are positively identified.

Mandate e-verify and these sneakers can't work in the USA. If the gov't really wants to stop this invasion, E-verify would be the most effective - for every job too. Self deportation in droves!

I agree artist. E-verify would work much better than anything else to help stop illegal immigration imo.

Beezer, with your military background, tell me why the news media whines about our troops and national guard can't secure our border or arrest illegal aliens? Why do we have a military to defend our country if they can't arrest invaders? This just makes no sense in a border situation or any other situation for that matter. I understand military can't be used to enforce laws against citizens, but foreign invaders? That's the whole purpose of having a military, to keep the enemy out of our country or kill or capture them if they get in. Something is way off here the way these pundits and even some government people are interpreting this posse comitatus restriction.

PRESIDENT TRUMP needs to deploy our troops from Pendleton and all the bases. Give the bases orders to get down there with all their gear and SET UP SHOP for training missions! They do training missions out in the CA, AZ and NV deserts. Get their rear ends down to the border!

A SHOW OF FORCE IS NEEDED NOW!

Get the big jeeps and tanks down there. A military convoy needs to be dispatched. Let them do training exercises on Federal Land in the desert.

Make a LOT of boom boom noises

Our tanks and bulldozers should also be bulldozing the thick brush and clear the way for border patrol for as wide a path as we can.

Let our troops set up tents and command posts just like in the Middle East. Let them set up their command posts and communication systems!

Let them call in the drug runners, coyotes and illegal aliens to ICE. Let them SHUT DOWN their coyote look out towers that are in are National Parks on the border.

Let ICE arrest them...let the military load them up on transport to be processed and taken directly BACK over the border. Then get ICE back on the front line.

Ranchers should also be able to DEMAND military support on their ranches until that BIG BEAUTIFUL WALL is built.

Our Fighter Jets should be doing fly bys.

GIVE THEM THE WORKS THAT WE MEAN BUSINESS!

EVERY MAN, WOMAN AND CHILD WILL BE IMMEDIATELY APPREHENDED AND DEPORTED! NO PAPER, NO ENTRY!

WE WANT THESE ILLEGAL ALIENS TO STOP COMING HERE...SO GET IT OUT OF YOUR THICK HEADS YOU ARE WELCOME...YOU ARE NOT!

WE HAVE THE MEN, WE HAVE THE WOMEN, WE HAVE THE EQUIPMENT SITTING BY COLLECTING DUST...NOW LOAD 'EM UP AND MOVE 'EM OUT!

So it's true then that our troops can't arrest or capture illegal aliens and drug smugglers, terrorists, spies and criminals coming across our borders? There's something inherently wrong with this. Our Constitution didn't provide for an army to deal with what's going on in Syria, Yemen, Iraq, or Afghanistan. Our Constitution provided for a national defense to defend our country and citizens from what is happening on the Southern Border: invasion.

Stupid people are ill-advising our government with the claims our military can't defend our country from invasions. That's the reason we have a military.
