As the federal government postpones dealing with the issue of illegal immigration, states like Arizona and Alabama are seeking to honor the federal laws regarding illegal immigration. As states like these seek to enforce the law, two Michigan city councils have voted to do the opposite and become sanctuary cities—cities where illegals are welcome to live in violation of federal law and at taxpayers’ expense.
