Man attacked Border Patrol agents in Escobares

BY CBS 4 NEWS THURSDAY, AUGUST 11TH 2016

Federal agents have charged a man with attacking Border Patrol agents in Escobares -- punching, kicking and choking agents who attempted to arrest him.

FBI agents charged 33-year-old Teodulo Garcia with assaulting federal law enforcement officers.

At about 12:35 a.m. on Tuesday, agents followed footprints from the Rio Grande to the 2700 block of Turtle Dove Street in Escobares, according to the criminal complaint.

Agents discovered migrants hiding in a house.

Four migrants left the home voluntarily. They told agents two pregnant women remained in the home.

Agents climbed through the window and found seven other people, according to the criminal complaint. They also found Garcia hiding in the bathroom.

Garcia threatened to "mess up" the agents, punching and kicking when they approached, according to the criminal complaint. During the struggle, Garcia attempted to choke a Border Patrol agent with the night-vision goggles hanging around the agent's neck.

Agents attempted to shock Garcia with a stun gun.

Garcia managed to dodge the first attempt, hiding behind a door. Agents hit him with the second attempt, but Garcia pulled the prongs from his back and kept resisting arrest, according to the criminal complaint.

Agents eventually handcuffed Garcia after shocking him a third time.

Court records don't list an attorney for Garcia, who remains in federal custody.

Of course there were pregnant women in the house. Send them back before we have to pay for them and their kids for the next 18 years. IMO

It's all so disgusting. All the positive and wonderful things we could be doing as Americans and instead we're bogged down, kidnapped into a type of paralysis, from illegal immigration, massive excess immigration, and bad trade deals sucking US dry as a bone, terrifying our communities and harming and sometimes killing our officers and citizens.

    This nonsense has to end.

    END THE NONSENSE!
