Man beheaded, 2 men shot to death in Juárez Valley

An unidentified man, partially burned, was found beheaded near the rural town of Guadalupe across the border from Tornillo, Texas, about 30 miles east of Juárez Sunday afternoon.

The victim, in his late 20s, was lying on the ground at Kilometer 49 marker at Juárez-Porvenir, Chihuahua state authorities said.

Apparently the victim was thrown there from a car, and the head was found nearby.

On Saturday afternoon, two unidentified men were found shot to death at a tire shop on Zaragoza Boulevard and Ejido Emiliano Zapata street, Terrenos Nacionales neighborhood, near the Juárez Valley rural area.

According to Chihuahua state police, one of the victims was found outside the tire shop "Cross" and the other was lying dead inside.

Both men, in their mid 30s, were shot with a 7.62x39 mm. caliber firearm.
