Mexican Gov. to try End Run Around Senate

My title, since the original is in Spanish.

Here's the babblefish translation, followed with a link to the original article.

Senators will deliver to Caldron proposed of migratory reform

On Sunday, the 01st of October of 2006

The proposal prepared in the past Term by the federal deputy of that time of the PRI, Roberto Pedraza, he contemplates a reform that allows the federative entities of Mexico to seal regional agreements with his counterparts of EU for the hiring of migrantes

09:42 Senators of the PRI will deliver to the elect president, Felipe Calderón Hinojosa, a proposal of migratory reform by means of which there might be avoided hundreds of Mexicans' deaths and to end with the traffic of undocumented persons.

The proposal prepared in the past Term by the federal deputy of that time of the Revolutionary Institutional Party (PRI), Roberto Pedraza Martínez, he contemplates a reform that allows the federative entities of Mexico to seal regional agreements with his counterparts of the United States for the hiring of migrantes.

“ We try from the Senate to re-live through this initiative named By A Migration Arranged between Mexico and the United States, better acquaintance as 10-2 and 5-1 who finds kept in some office of the Secretary of Exterior Relations for three years ”, his author was sorry.

Now substitute senator said in interview that there is foreseen the consensus of more senators of all the parties to deliver the proposal to the elect president and to impel from the beginning of his administration a real national agenda in the migratory topic.

The proposal establishes that in addition to the regional or interstate agreements, there would be promoted the "certification" of the Mexican emigrants, to prevent they from being accused of delinquents and with it also to finish with the bands of "poulterers".

“ The sexenio of the president Fox was that of the happy accounts in migratory matter and in the end you end with the construction of a new wall, watched by military men ”, it exhibited Pedraza Martínez.

He regretted that the initiative prepared by deputies federal and agreed by the whole House of Representatives in the Term LIX has been rejected first by the holder of the Executive and later by the chancellor Luis Ernesto Derbez.

He remembered that the proposal of the Mexican Congress was establishing the “ certification of migrantes ”, the possibility of realizing migratory agreements between states of two countries, a scheme of temporary work and the payment of deposits that they guarantee that the Mexican workpeople return to the country.

“ There were squandered six years of the current administration in presidents' meetings of both countries in his messes, of friends' dialogues, of impelling the hardening of the migratory measurements, but not in a real reform in the topic that brakes more than 500 Mexicans' deaths on the common border ”, he added.

The gist is, the Mexican Government is going to try to negotiate directly with the States to get amnesty for its' illegals.

Can't we just get on with it, and declare war on Mexico?
It's like hell vomited and the Bush administration appeared.

Didn't I recently read a post on here somewhere that stated Mexico had a law against outsiders interferring in Mexico's politics and government? If that is so, how hypocritical can you get?

    Absolutely True, MW!

They're very strict with 'interferring' and with ILLEGALS too.
