    McALLEN, Texas—Authorities say a Mexican citizen accused of killing her 2-year-old son with a kick to the stomach is pregnant and being held on $1 million bond in McAllen.
    Maria Almaguer, a 30-year-old living in McAllen on an expired visa, was arraigned Thursday on a murder charge. Police spokesman Armando Contreras says she is believed to be about five months pregnant.

    She's being held in the Hidalgo County Jail.

    According to court documents, Almaguer was alone with Isaias Alvarez on June 13, the day before police responded to a call of a child not breathing. The boy was pronounced dead at a hospital.

    An autopsy showed his death was caused by blunt force trauma to his abdomen that lacerated his small intestine.

    They should speed up this trial and ship her back before she burps her anchor baby. Murderer!!

    I hope they don't ship her anywhere but straight to prison! While I hate the fact that our government has put we tax payers in this position (paying for the incarceration of illegals), I'm not willing to see a baby killer go free.
