Mexico's ambassador to the US says immigration debate is "emotional"
CHICAGO Mexico's ambassador to the United States says America has the right to debate its own laws on immigration.
But Carlos de Icaza says border enforcement won't be successful without Mexico's participation.
De Icaza told the Chicago Council on Foreign Relations lat night that illegal immigration won't stop if it's treated as a law enforcement issue -- or by fortifying the two-thousand-mile U-S-Mexico border with a fence.
De Icaza admits the heated debate is "emotional." He says progress will only occur if the U-S government expands guest worker programs to allow foreigners enter the country legally and work.
Illegal immigration has become a contentious issue this year in Washington, with both House and Senate bills to deal with the country's estimated eleven (M) million illegal immigrants.

So......what he says is we better do what they want or they're going to do it anyway. Anything less than that won't work.
Since when do illegals and the Mexican government tell America what to do? I know they're doing a pretty good job of trying to.........but it's not over.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Make Joe Arpaio the president and this crap will stop! We need a president with guts and common sense. If our laws were enforced and they started penalizing these illegals for being here, they'd get the message that it ain't wise to be in the U.S.
Arpaio has made Maricopa county Arizona a place to aviod for these illegals. We just need to make the rest of the U.S. the same!<div>Thank you Governor Brewer!</div>
