The National Council of La Raza (NCLR), largest national Hispanic civil rights and advocacy organization in the U.S., announces the return of the NCLR ALMA Awards in a prime-time spot on ABC Monday, June 5 (9:30/8:30C)! The NCLR ALMA Awards honors outstanding Latino artistic achievement in television, film, and music and the enhancement of the Latino image in the entertainment industry. The show has established a following around the country and has made inroads for Latinos in Hollywood both in front of and behind the camera. The show has also been a springboard to showcase Latino talent. Check out our past winners, performers, and presenters to see what we're talking about!

What absolutely incredible advertising for La Raza!

What do you expect from ABC? They would sell their souls to satan if they had souls! There is a big difference between showcasing latino talent and the Laraza racist group. That is like the network having KKK Talent Awards or the Nazi Showcase awards. ABC is nothing but a bunch of stooges who have no souls. Just make sure we circulate a list of all of the sponsors and send them letters of disdain and boycott.

Oh goodie! I can hardly wait! More trash TV clouding up the airwaves.

send emails to the FCC. I believe there is a television regulation against airing content of knowingly racist groups on network television.

also email disney and tell them you and your kids have decided that Six Flags or Universal Studios will be a better summer vacation than Disney world due to this abomination.

Does anyone have a post or link which gives proof re the BACKGROUND of the NCLR. I've found a bunch of posts, but is there one concise post or link?
