New Rules and Tips for ALIPAC News Area
ALIPAC Activists:
1. We need more comments posted under the news stories. Please make an added effort to place more comments here beneath the news articles.
2. When you place an article here, use the full text and place the LINK AT THE BOTTOM OF THE ARTICLE. Not the top, LINK AT THE BOTTOM.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Hello Everyone!!
I just wanted to remind everyone to please place the link at the bottom of the article, when posting news.
There is a unique technical reason why we ask you to do this and doing so allows this forum to opperate more effecently.
Also, I know it is tempting to change the titles of articles. Please don't because it makes it difficult to locate them and look for duplicates. Also, it may be a copyright infringement to alter the author's title.
Lastly, please include the date of the article. An article more than a day old will likely be a duplicate.
Thanks Bunches!

I've noticed that many of the same articles, when they are picked up by different news agencies, get a new headline stuck on them. It must be some sort of open option for the Editors.
I've been trying to skip using the headlines for searches. I've been trying the author and some keywords but I still fail finding previous post at times.
I was using the link as a way to divide up my opening comment from the following article. I think lately I've found bolding the headline makes the separation pretty clear. I'll try and watch out for me breaking from the pack though.

Good suggestion StokeyBob.
I use the most unusual word in the article I can find. Usually it's the reporter's name or the name of a location.

Yes I search and have trouble finding dups too. It probably is because different sources are using different titles. I hadn't thought of that. I try to uses the title for the Subject line so it won't be duplicated, but oh well.

Well Informed are the Intelligent
Well, being new here, I've just been wandering around seeing all there is to see. This is probably the best site I've been a member of yet, and feel priviledged to be here.
Just following foot steps in an effort to fit in better and unleash all these Libertarian things wanting to come out of my keyboard. That and making sure I follow all the rules and guidelines.
