That's when we started hearing of a gun battle breaking out in Colonia Reforma in a mini mall in the South part of the city.

Social media is flooded with citizens claiming explosions occurred at or near a Walmart there.

Others alerting of armed men releasing fire inside a Peter Piper Pizza.

Citizens are warning each other to take precaution at Kilometro 13 on Carratera Nacional in Nuevo Laredo.

It is unclear if there is people injured..
