WASHINGTON - WASHINGTON—The Obama administration is considering making veterans use private insurance to pay for treatment of combat and service-related injuries. The plan would be an about-face on what veterans believe is a long-standing pledge to pay for health care costs that result from their military service.

But in a White House meeting Monday, veterans groups apparently failed to persuade President Obama to take the plan off the table.

How dare obama dis-respect our brave soliders and Veternans.

This is one of the most disgusting things I have heard, Obama will allow illegals to gobble up all of our health care resources and offer us nothing in exchange. While Veterans and our military, who have put their lives on the line for us, will have to pay for their own health care. No heath insurance will cover pre-existing conditions. So if, for example, a soldier got his leg blown off in the war, his family will have to get three jobs to pay for his health care. This is horrible. Obama continually disrespects our law enforcment officers, border partol, Veterans and Soliders. We need to impeach Obama, Pelosi, Reid and Biden for starters.

Perhaps this is why Obama wants to have a civilian task force, so he can over take our current military.

I cant believe they are actually considering putting this burdon on soldiers and their families. This is absolutely anti-American and degrading to our heroes who fight for our freedoms. Obama is a disgusting imposter who needs to be ousted before he can do any more damage to our country.

I've thought the exact same thing.

I find this whole thing a disgrace and a literal spit in the face to those who serve and protect us. What they do do is far short than what is needed.....so much is done through donations and organizations to fill in the gap. Then to pull this? I find it real hypocritical then that Mrs. Obama has taken vetrans families as one of her pet projects and then her husband pulls this?
