OBAMA REFERS TO SOME ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS AS ‘GANG BANGERS’

During a town hall style event in Nashville to discuss Obamacare, President Obama referred to some illegal immigrants as “gang-bangers,” adding they should be deported.

Obama made his remarks after he was asked if he would expand Obamacare benefits to illegal immigrants.

“We should not be encouraging illegal immigration,” he remarked to the group.

“What we should be doing is setting up a smart legal immigration system that doesn’t separate families but does focus on making sure that people who are dangerous, people who are, you know, gang-bangers, who are criminals that we’re deporting as quickly as possible.”

Obama boasted that “we’ve made improvements on all those fronts,” but blamed House Republicans for failing to pass comprehensive immigration reform.

During his conversation, he pointed out that some illegal immigrants are contributing to society and families need a pathway to legalization.

He referred to his executive actions on immigration reform as one way he was handling the issue in the meantime while he’s waiting for Congress to act.

“I suspect this will be a topic of conversation during the upcoming presidential campaign,” he said.

Trump Declares Victory on Immigration as Obama Admits Some Illegals Are ‘Gang Bangers’

President Obama’s admission that some “gang-bangers” are crossing America’s southern border sparked a direct response from GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump, who has been criticized for his remarks on illegal immigration during his official campaign announcement.

“Mr. Trump has repeatedly provided additional context to his remarks from June 16th, 2015 during which he addressed the severely detrimental effects of illegal immigration and described some of the issues that are brought to the United States as a result, much like President Obama has done today,” reads Trump’s press release.

“There are few occasions on which I agree with statements made by President Obama, however, his statement today reflects the serious problems associated with illegal immigration and the inability of politicians to secure our borders,” Trump stated. “We must continue to vigorously fight to protect the United States and Make America Great Again!”

Following Trump’s remarks on illegal immigrants from Mexico, Univision, NBC and Macy’s ceased doing business with the billionaire following pressure from Hispanic and political groups. Celebrity Eva Longoria sided with the critics, equating Trump to Adolf Hitler.

Trump’s press release noted the difference in coverage of his statements versus President Obama’s remarks.

“The media and others have attempted to distort Mr. Trump’s remarks and portray him as a racist, when his remarks are far less controversial than President Obama’s. It is our expectation that the media responds to President Obama with the same vitriolic manor for his statement made earlier today. Where is the outcry from the liberal mainstream media demanding an apology from the President?”

Trump’s campaign states many Americans share his position and concerns over the border and that his statements were not intended to be interpreted as racist or generalizing all immigrants.

“It is merely taking a stance on a position that greatly affects all American citizens, our economy and safety, each of which will continue to be cornerstones of Mr. Trump’s presidential campaign,” read the press release.

Mr. Trump adds, “Make our borders strong and stop illegal immigration.”

No word yet from NBC, Univision, Macy’s or Longoria about Obama’s statement.
