    Protest Of Illegal Immigration
    Group challenges president's proposals


    It's not the same immigration message you heard from the president during his visit to Omaha. Protestors took aim at that message Saturday.

    They gathered across the street from the Mexican Consulate on Dodge Street and yelled their opinions as cars drove by while showing their support for the U.S. House of Representatives' bill for immigration reform.

    That's the message they want to send to Washington.

    Protester Tim Narducci says, "The goal is just to send a message to our senators and our president that we don't agree with what their position is on illegal immigration. We think we should secure the border first and then we can deal with the illegals that are here."

    Another protest is planned for July 8 in front of Senator Chuck Hagel's Omaha office.
