PHOENIX - Four men have been arrested, after a home invasion investigation leads police to two other residences where they found a huge marijuana stash and over 50 firearms.

Wednesday morning just after 4 a.m., Phoenix Police officers responded to a home in the 4100 block of N. 27th St on reports of a fight. When officers arrived, they found the arcadia door was broken and made entry for a welfare check.

There was no one inside, but officers found blood stains on the floor and about 100 pounds of marijuana, which was evidence of a home invasion and drug ripoff.

Investigators developed information that led them to a home in the 11200 block of West Sells Drive. They executed a search warrant and found an additional 300 pounds of marijuana.

Finally, evidence led them to a third location in the 11200 block of West Calle de la Luna. There, they found a large cache of weapons in shipping boxes, as well as a large number of gun magazines.

In all, they seized: 49 AK-47s, 6 large tote bins full of AK-47 banana clips, 400 pounds of marijuana, and three vehicles.

Four men were arrested: Victor Vazquez-Venegas, 25, Juan Carlos Rodriguez, 27, Jorge Armando Valenzuela Hurtado, 27, and Manuel Trinidad Casinova-Lopez, 25.
