Thread: TX - Has Mayor White had a change of heart?

Over the last year or so the lame duck mayor has finally realized that illegal alien criminals are a bad thing:

Houston police identified the suspect in a shooting last week that critically injured a police officer as an illegal immigrant from El Salvador, saying federal immigration officials missed multiple opportunities to deport him.

On Tuesday, Mayor Bill White said the disclosure about the immigration status of Wilfido Joel Alfaro, who was fatally shot by officers executing a drug search warrant Thursday night, highlights the federal government’s failure to identify and deport illegal immigrants convicted of crimes. Officer Richard Salter, shot in the face during the raid, in southeast Houston remains at a local hospital.

White said the federal government has “let us down.â€

Bill White having a change of heart? It's more like he is covering his butt so he can con people into electing him for Senate next year.

This just says White is putting the blame on the federal government. Like Pontus Pilot he is trying to wash his hands of his it.

What a piece of crap he is, I hope citizens are mad as hell....but probably not they wouldn't want to look racist, better to give your country away to a bunch of invaders and turn you back on the people trying to keep your towns safe!

Unfortunately, most "citizens" have moved out of the Houston city limits because we have already had enough of the illegal aliens that Bill White has welcomed to Houston and sick of our schools being ruined by illegal aliens who could care a less about bettering themselves. He knows that we don't even get to vote him out of office but what goes on in Houston bleeds out to the suburbs. White will certainly get the message next year when he runs for US Senate.
