REPORT: Obama administration ignored DACA fraud which continues today in huge numbers

A former official with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) agency is speaking out about the rampant fraud taking place within the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, which gave nearly 800,000 illegal aliens temporary protected status and work permits to remain in the United States.

The DACA program was put into action via an executive order signed by President Obama in 2012. But according to the former official, the background screening of Dreamers was lax.

Matt O’Brien, an attorney and former manager in the investigative unit of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS), revealed that as many as half of all DACA “Dreamers” who now have legal work permits through the program have provided false information in order to escape deportation and remain in the U.S.

O’Brien stated in an online interview with Laura Ingraham that the fraud rate for DACA is roughly “40 to 50 percent” and potentially even “higher”.

“Based on what I had seen and what I discussed with my colleagues, the fraud rate is 40 to 50 percent. It’s possible that it was higher,” he said.

O’Brien explained that the DACA program was riddled with fraud and abuse from the beginning, which was when some of the illegal alien applicants for the program allegedly lied on their applications, but they were rarely caught by USCIS officials.

Instead of taking the time to do thorough reviews, USCIS employees did quick checks of DACA applications “in order to get the DACAs all racked and stacked quickly,” O’Brien said.

He recalled how he and the investigators working under him often found evidence that people were lying about their DACA qualifications, but the office of the chief counsel at USCIS didn’t care.

“I would say 98 percent of the time, they defaulted to approving them,” he said.

O’Brien’s assertion that USCIS often rushed to get illegal aliens on the DACA rolls matches up with previous reports which revealed how the Obama Administration added 122,221 DACA recipients to the amnesty program in the last three months of his presidency.

At the time, immigration expert John Miano told Breitbart Texas that the approval rate for DACA in Obama’s last three months stood at roughly 98 percent, leaving the potential for fraud and abuse in the program.

Since DACA’s inception, more than 2,100 DACA recipients saw their protected status revoked for being involved in gang activity or suspected / convicted of a felony. In addition, there’s a loophole in the DACA program which allowed more than 39,000 illegal aliens to obtain Green Cards, and more than 1,000 were able to get naturalized.

DACA is a FRAUD, the whole program, the whole "Dreamer" Scam is a calculated charade and a fanciful farce. SHUT IT DOWN. Deport any and everyone who lied on a form about when they came here, who brought them, why they're here, and what they've been doing. Get all the drug runners, operatives, gang members, gang-friendlies, cheaters, liars, welfare beggars, bad drivers, criminals, visa-overstays and immigration document violators out of here. Then let the rest expire as the announcement decision states. and then in 2.5 years, this phony pity party farce is over 100%.

Hopefully that 98% will be picked up by ICE and deported out of here with NO chance to ever come back.
