Republicans Crush Dreams of Hispanic Youths

Republicans Crush Dreams of Hispanic Youths

Republicans once more turned their backs on the Hispanic Community and in an incredibly foolish twist on Saturday, voted to end debate on the DREAM Act, preventing hundreds of thousands of young illegal immigrants from getting on a path to legal status, if they enrolled in college or the U.S. military.

While the U.S. House of Representatives passed the DREAM Act last week, making difficult concessions to address other member’s concerns, including presenting DREAM as stand-alone legislation, the Senate voted 55 to 41, five votes shy of moving the bill forward.

    Illegals go home

Just enforce the laws. We do not want illegals in the United States.

it is amazing what we are able to do without the support of Jorge Ramos, George Soros, S.P.L.C., S.C.I.U. and all of the big money backers. Just a bunch of citizens that see thru the crap and SAY NO.

It should read "The American People" not the Repubs. stopped the Dream Act.

Also why does it say "Crushed the Dreams of Hispanic Youth" Dreamers are from all over the world NOT just Hispanic.

Their parents' employers also did not want it passed. They want to keep their cheap labor.

Ya know what? I am sick to death of this crap, if the AMERICAN people have their way we are gonna smash more than just their dreams.

I know I shouldn't get my hopes up, yet it is so darn hard not to...
come January I hope and pray to see the laws enforced and the deportation buses cranked into high gear. I hope and pray they will be making these threats from their side of the border.

And Hey Dreamers.....what about OUR DREAMS? I have all kinds of dreams about how nice OUR lives would be without you and your people being in my face everyday making my life miserable.
