Sterling gang member pleads guilty to organizing mob attack with Dominion High students

A Sterling member of MS-13 recently pleaded guilty to arranging a mob assault with students from Dominion High School.

Jonatan Escobar-Escobar,18, pleaded guilty July 11 to a felony count of gang participation. He was arrested in February after police learned Escobar and other gang members arranged an altercation on social media that turned into a fight. Some of the gang members involved were students at Dominion, according to Loudoun County Sheriff’s officials.

The sheriff’s office received information from Dominion’s student resource officer about a fight that took place off campus on Dec. 14, 2015, according to Kraig Troxell, public information officer for LCSO.

The detective on the case determined the fight was arranged by searching social media messaging, said Troxell.

The sheriff’s office worked with Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials on the case.

Escobar will be sentenced at 9 a.m. Aug. 29. in Loudoun County Circuit Court.

I assume this is Sterling VA, a suburb of Washington. MS-13 has been a problem in the DC area for the last 15 years, now they have fresh recruits.
