HOUSTON (AP) — Investigators say about two dozen suspected illegal immigrants have been found packed into a van near a house in Houston.

Authorities say the individuals located early Thursday include adults and children. The immigrants were discovered by a Houston police officer who became suspicious about several people standing near the rental vehicle.

Officials with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials took custody of the immigrants. Further details were not immediately available.
