LAREDO, Texas – Border Patrol agents at the Hebrronville station arrested four illegal aliens connected to a human smuggling attempt.

Authorities said the incident occurred Aug. 24 near Randado Texas, when agents asked from assistance from the Texas Department of Public Safety for a vehicle stop on Farm to Market Road 649. Agents determined the occupants in the vehicle were illegal aliens from Guatemala and Mexico. The driver, a Mexican national, was charged with smuggling and his vehicle was seized by DPS.

Authorities said the illegal aliens were taken to the Hebbronville station.
