EDINBURG (July 18, 2012)—U.S. Border Patrol agents have found the bodies of three suspected illegal immigrants in hot, parched areas of South Texas.

The Border Patrol Wednesday in Edinburg announced the deaths and warned about the dangers of extreme summer heat and rugged terrain.

On Sunday agents discovered a body on a ranch near Falfurrias.

The cause of death was related to the environment.

Other bodies were found Monday and Tuesday on Falfurrias-area ranches.

A determination of the cause of those deaths is pending.

The Border Patrol says some suspected illegal immigrants were rescued Sunday after being attacked by bees near Hidalgo.

A man and a woman from El Salvador were taken to a hospital for treatment of bee stings.

Both face deportation when medically cleared to travel.
