A man accused of assaulting a 12-year-old girl in November remained in the Bexar County Jail Thursday and was placed under an immigration hold, police said.

Rodolfo Alejandro Sixtos-Cabrera, 41, was jailed on charges of continued sexual abuse of a child and aggravated sexual assault of a child after a woman reported finding Sixtos-Cabrera in her 12-year-old daughter's bedroom with the door shut and his pants partially removed, according to an arrest warrant affidavit.

The mother called Converse police to her Autumn Brook home at about 4:30 a.m. Nov. 4 to report the incident, according to the report. The girl told police Sixtos-Cabrera had assaulted her between eight and 10 times in the past year, while her mother was at work.

She said Sixtos-Cabrera threatened to kill her mother if she told anyone of the abuse, according to the affidavit.
