In the United States, the people have basically lost their right to be heard...

VHeadline.com commentarist Oscar Heck writes: This past Saturday, March 25, 2006, the USA experienced some of the largest public demonstration ever. Here is a quote from an Indybay report:

"In the largest demonstration in California’s history, well over half a million people marched through downtown Los Angeles on Saturday, March 25, in defense of immigrant rights and to protest the government attacks on immigrants, especially undocumented workers. The demonstration was the culmination of two weeks of protest demonstrations against new federal legislation, passed by the House of Representatives and scheduled to be taken up Monday by the US Senate, which would make illegal immigration a felony crime, as well as criminalizing all those who help illegal immigrants—including social service and charity workers who operate soup kitchens, homeless shelters and emergency clinics. The scale of the demonstrations has staggered the political establishment in the United States, while going largely unreported by the American media. Not until the mammoth turnout in Los Angeles Saturday did the national television networks even report on the protests."

As expected, the US mainstream media has been collusive in hiding the facts ... hiding reality.

Just as the US mainstream media (and most other worldwide "corporate" media) did regarding Iraq before the USA's criminal invasion, and just as they are presently doing regarding Iran (parroting only the US government's erroneous stance)... and just as they often did and continue to do with Venezuela (chastising Chavez and repeating the US State Department's false accusations against Chavez), they continue to refuse to report the truth. They report mostly what the US government wants reported. The USA's mainstream media is simply a propaganda tool for the USA government ... and the US government is the puppet of the ruling elite who hide behind its massive body.

However, there is more to this. There is a close relationship between the US mainstream media, the entertainment industry, the "Christian" movement, the US conservative movement and the people who run the US government ... they are linked in some fashion.

One simply has to look at:

* Who owns the US entertainment industry and mainstream media ...

* Who runs or promotes the websites of warmongering US conservative groups such as the PNAC (see signees at page bottom) and many other US-based extreme right-wing groups ...

* Who owns and operates groups such as CBN (Pat Robertson) and other "Christian" organizations ...

* Who runs right-wing, non-governmental "think-tanks" such as the Heritage Foundation ... and The National Center for Public Policy Research (read about its chairman, here) ...

Verify the names of the people who make up the boards of directors of these groups and see who are their trustees, promoters and leaders. Also see which sites provide and/or promote links to which other sites. You will be surprised. Some of the same names appear over and over ... and many of the people involved in these organizations are or were at some time members of the US government, the CIA, the FBI, the US State Department or the US military and defense departments. Most have direct links to politics as well.

These are some of the same people who have called Hugo Chavez, Venezuela's very-popular democratically-elected President, a dictator, a communist, a threat to democracy, a de-stabilizing factor and an autocrat.

* During one of his religious "Christian" television programs, Pat Robertson, publicly called for the US to assassinate Chavez.
* Donald Rumsfled, avidly anti-Chavez, is part of the PNAC and Midge Decter is as well. Decter is also part of the Heritage Foundation (which is also fiercely anti-Chavez) and she was/is also in the media business.
* Gustavo Cisneros, one of Venezuela's wealthiest multi-billionaires is in the media and communications business and owns, amongst many companies, one of the most vile anti-Chavez television stations in Venezuela, Venevision.

I could go on and on ...

Now, as I have been predicting for the last two years or so, the USA is heading into a situation of internal turmoil. The "insurgents" will not come from outside the USA, but rather from within. They will not be "Arabs" or "Muslims" or imaginary Satanic gnomes, they will be "Americans."

The demonstrations in Los Angeles are just the beginning.


The mainstream media has been trying to hide the fact that such large demonstrations happened. By hiding the facts, the US government could essentially go ahead and very quietly approve whatever laws it desires with minimal consultation, debate or controversy ... like they did in order to invade Afghanistan and Iraq.

However ... even if the media did finally report on the Los Angeles demonstrations, in my view, it will do nothing to shift or sway the lawmakers in Washington.


The people of the USA have basically lost their right to be heard.

They may still be able to obtain city permits to hold rallies, but few if any government officials will listen to them. Not surprisingly, the vast majority of the demonstrators in Los Angeles were Latinos ... hey ... but who is going to listen to them!

No one! They don't count. They will not be heard!

We will see the near future bring even more repression within the walls of the USA. More jails will be filled with "illegal" darkskins. More innocent people will be handcuffed and beaten ... more "illegal" children will live in fear, join street gangs and destroy themselves through drug abuse. Violence will increase ... and a revolution will begin. The white people, especially conservative "Christians" will live in greater fear (not of God, but of others), racism will become even more extreme and social segregation will become even more obvious than it is today.

Meanwhile, the US economy will begin to crumble ... and millions will be without work or money. (Remember, in a capitalist system, one can do nothing without money!) Millions will commit suicide (which may be convenient to the US government!) and millions more will declare personal bankruptcies and go through divorces. And ... the US mainstream media will blame it all on Islamic terrorists ... or Iranians ... or Syrians ... or pro-Chavez Venezuelans ... or on psycho dogs and cats and evil viruses showered down from Mars!

This is what Chavez is talking about when (every Sunday on his television program) he teaches his fellow citizens about the dangers of following the US model. Chavez is doing a wonderful job of saving Venezuelans from the likes of the ugly fate which is about to slap "Americans" in the face and drop them to their knees. Other countries which are following the US model will also soon fall.

When the US falls, Canada will crumble, Mexico will shatter, and all of Central America and Colombia will be in upheaval. So will England ... and other countries whose governments are now being backed by the USA (some ex-USSR countries come to mind) ... but Venezuela will be safe and sound ... and healthy and strong ... protected from the outcome of US-based unrestrained capitalism.

While the "freedom-loving" "civilized" world dilapidates and flounders behind walls and fences in its own mire of decaying greed, materialism, consumerism, racism and segregation, Venezuela will flourish in a land of true freedom, equity, social pride and national sovereignty ... in a land where human dignity and respect means more than money or material wealth, where the natural resources, the water, the beaches, the forests and the air are not privately owned and controlled, where people are not obese or suffering from chronic diseases (as a result of gluttony) ... where the government and the media are not appendages of the elite ... where to be human means something...

Where people are listened to and where the people sway the leaders, and not the other way around.

Hmmmm......Venezuela.....how very interesting.
