GUATEMALA - Two hundred U.S. Marines are in Guatemala tracking down the most wanted man in Mexico. That's according to former DEA Supervisor Phil Jordan.

The Marines are using high-tech military surveillance weapons to track down the head of the Sinaloa Cartel, Chapo Guzman. Guzman has evaded authorities for years.

Jordan says intelligence from Mexico shows Guzman is hiding out in Guatemala because he can pay people off. He says once the Marines find him, he will go out fighting.

"The Mexican government has been under attack by Chapo and his people to the extent we have over 40 to 50,000 lives lost. Seventy-five percentof all killings in Mexico can be directly attributed to El Chapo, Zetas, Mexican government, the military," says Jordan.

The U.S. military says the Marines are in Guatemala to track down the Zetas. Jordan says he doesn't expect the Marines to divulge the other reason behind their work there.
