    I found this while browsing through Telemundo & wanted to share it with you, please forgive the translation.

    According to recent polls, this is the response of the American people regarding illegal immigration,

    * 59% is opposed to allowing illegal immigrants to obtain temporary workers visas, according to a poll by NBC News-Wall Street Journal.
    * 62% is opposed to illegal immigrants obtainin citizenship status, according to a poll by the Quinnipiac University
    * Three-fourth of those polled said that the United States does not do enough to protect its borders to prevent more illegal immigration, poll conducted by Times Magazine.

    there's a current poll on that link asking "¿Hay espacio para más inmigrantes en Estados Unidos?" if there's plenty of space for immigrants (read illegal immigrants). the second choice of "No, ya se ha acabado el espacio" translates to "No, all the space is gone".
