After 20 years of court battles, the BLM finally got a corrupt judge to issue a federal court order to have Bundy’s “trespass cattle” forcibly removed with heavy artillery, the family said. Heavy handed doesn’t begin to cover it here.

They’re going to prove they can do it, and they’re gonna prove that they have unlimited power, and that they control the policing power over this public land. That’s what they’re trying to prove.”
Bundy said the government has brought everything but tanks and rocket launchers.

I’m sick of this. I’m sick of the Feds breaking down our doors with SWAT teams in the dead of night. I’m sick of warrantless search and seizures. I’m sick of them seizing our property and forcing us to prove innocence to get it back. I’m sick to death of the spying and bullying. And I think the rest of America feels the same way. These jack booted thugs are taking away this family’s livelihood that they have owned and worked for since 1870… now they’ve arrested his son. Bring on the Range War you asshats. I wish I was back in Nevada, I’d be standing with the “Red Dawn” supporters out there. The Feds are saying the protestors violated a “First Amendment Area” that was cordoned off by these brown shirts. WTF? What the bloody hell does that mean? Hundreds told the goons they could stuff it and protested any way.
This is the fricking EPA Marxists at work over the endangered desert tortoise.

A two-decades-old battle between a Nevada rancher and the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has resulted in officials armed with machine guns surrounding the ranch and forcibly removing the owner’s cattle, according to the rancher’s family.
Cliven Bundy, the last rancher in Clark County, Nev., has been fighting a “one-man range war” since 1993, when he decided to take a stand against the agency, refusing to pay fees for the right to graze on a ranch run by his family for centuries.
After years of court battles, the BLM secured a federal court order to have Bundy’s “trespass cattle” forcibly removed with heavy artillery, the family said.
“The battle’s been going on for 20 years,” Bundy told theWashington Free Beacon. “What’s happened the last two weeks, the United States government, the bureaus are getting this army together and they’re going to get their job done and they’re going to prove two things. They’re going to prove they can do it, and they’re gonna prove that they have unlimited power, and that they control the policing power over this public land. That’s what they’re trying to prove.”

“They’re carrying the same things a soldier would,” he said. “Automatic weapons, sniper rifles, top communication, top surveillance equipment, lots of vehicles. It’s heavy soldier type equipment.”
His wife, Carol Bundy, said that roughly 200 armed agents from the BLM and FBI are stationed around their land, located about 75 miles outside of Las Vegas. Helicopters circle the premises, and the airspace and nearby roads remain blocked.
“We’re surrounded,” Carol Bundy said. “We’re estimating that there are over 200 armed BLM, FBI. We’ve got surveillance cameras at our house, they’re probably listening to me talk to you right now.”
A National Park Service spokesman denied there were armed guards rounding up the cattle in a conference call on Tuesday. However, she confirmed that there was “security” in place, citing threats to the contractors who are removing the cattle.
“Contractors are here and they are in place to round-up the cattle and to bring them to the impound area,” Christie Vanover said. “As for security, there [is] security in place, but that is merely to protect the contractors.”
“As you know, we have received threats and the contractors have received threats,” Vanover said. “Our personnel here and throughout the park service and throughout the BLM have received threats, as well. So security is in place to merely protect the contractors so that we can complete this operation.”
As of Monday, officials have seized 234 of Bundy’s 908 cattle. Impounding the cattle alone could cost the government as much as $3 million.
“They just brought a load down today,” she said. “They kind of harass us as well. When we leave they follow us.”
This afternoon eight helicopters surrounded the family after they began taking pictures, according to Bundy’s daughter, Bailey. Their son, Dave Bundy, was arrested for taking pictures on state road 170, which has been closed, and is being held by BLM.

The BLM said they took Dave Bundy into custody following his “failure to comply with multiple requests by BLM law enforcement to leave the temporary closure area on public lands.”
Carol Bundy said five officials took Dave and “threw him on the ground.”
“One put his knee on his head, the other put his boot on his head and pushed him into the gravel,” she said. “He’s got quite a bruised head. Just bruised him up pretty good.”
Environmentalists are praising the government’s forceful actions, which are being taken to protect the “desert tortoise.”
“We’re heartened and thankful that the agencies are finally living up to their stewardship duty,” said Rob Mrowka, a Nevada-based senior scientist with the Center for Biological Diversity. “The Gold Butte area has been officially designated as critical habitat for threatened tortoises—meaning the area is essential to their long-term survival as a species.”
“[Cliven] Bundy has long falsely believed that Gold Butte is his ranch,” added Terri Robertson, president of Friends of Sloan Canyon.
The BLM designated 186,909 acres of the Gold Butte off-limits for the “critical desert tortoise” population in 1998. Bundy had already lost his grazing permit five years earlier for refusing to pay fees for the land, which his family has ranched since the 1870s.
The “federal grazing fee” is $1.35 per “Animal Unit Month,” or the amount of forage needed per animal, each month. Bundy said he owes roughly $300,000 in back fees, while the BLM asserts he owes over $1 million. The BLM defended the removal because Bundy did not “voluntarily” give up his cattle.
“We’ve tried to do this through the legal and we’ve tried to do it through the political, and what we’re at right now, I guess we’re going to have to try to stand,” Cliven Bundy said. “We the people have to stand on the ground and get our state sovereignty back, and also take some liberty and freedoms back to where we have at least access to this land.”
“The story is a lot about the cattle, but the bigger story is about our loss of freedom,” Carol Bundy added. “They have come and taken over this whole corner of the county. They’ve taken over policing power, they’ve taken over our freedom, and they’re stealing cattle.”
“And our sheriff says he just doesn’t have authority, our governor says he doesn’t have authority, and we’re saying, why are we a state?”
“I’m a producer,” Cliven Bundy said. “I produce edible commodity from the desert forage, and all of these things are governed under state law. So, in other words, this type of government has eliminated all of our state law, eliminated our state sovereignty, and has took control over our public lands and even took control over our Clark County sheriff. They’ve taken the whole county over. The whole state, almost.”
“This is just about power of the government,” Carol Bundy said.
Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval (R.) voiced his concern about so-called “First Amendment Areas,” designated locations set up by the BLM where citizens can protest the removal.
“Most disturbing to me is the BLM’s establishment of a ‘First Amendment Area’ that tramples upon Nevadans’ fundamental rights under the U.S. Constitution,” he said in a statement Tuesday.
“To that end, I have advised the BLM that such conduct is offensive to me and countless others and that the ‘First Amendment Area’ should be dismantled immediately,” he said. “No cow justifies the atmosphere of intimidation which currently exists nor the limitation of constitutional rights that are sacred to all Nevadans. The BLM needs to reconsider its approach to this matter and act accordingly.”
Sandoval also said his office has received numerous complaints about the BLM’s conduct, including road closures and “other disturbances.”

I would ask these Feds how they sleep at night? How do you justify this and live with yourselves? Have you really pledged all to the government and have forgotten what it is to be a free American? Obviously, you’ve made your choice. Well, mine is made too and I stand with the Bundys. After his son’s arrest, Cliven Bundy posted a statement on his website which read, “They have my cattle and now they have one of my boys. Range War begins tomorrow.” Damned straight Cliven – they stepped way over the line. They arrested his son and threw him physically on the ground for taking pictures. The BLM said they took Dave Bundy into custody following his “failure to comply with multiple requests by BLM law enforcement to leave the temporary closure area on public lands.”
This is what arming the Fed to the teeth brings and don’t kid yourselves, the Bundys are not an isolated case. They are coming after many of us and this is just one line in the sand. This is Obama’s new homeland military force in action:

According to this standard of merit, the praise of affording a just
securing to property, should be sparingly bestowed on a government
which, however scrupulously guarding the possessions of individuals,
does not protect them in the enjoyment and communication of their
opinions, in which they have an equal, and in the estimation of some, a
more valuable property.
More sparingly should this praise be allowed to a government, where a
man’s religious rights are violated by penalties, or fettered by tests, or
taxed by a hierarchy. Conscience is the most sacred of all property;
other property depending in part on positive law, the exercise of that,
being a natural and unalienable right. To guard a man’s house as his
castle, to pay public and enforce private debts with the most exact
faith, can give no title to invade a man’s conscience which is more
sacred than his castle, or to withhold from it that debt of protection, for
which the public faith is pledged, by the very nature and original
conditions of the social pact.
That is not a just government, nor is property secure under it, where
the property which a man has in his personal safety and personal
liberty, is violated by arbitrary seizures of one class of citizens for the
service of the rest. A magistrate issuing his warrants to a press gang,
would be in his proper functions in Turkey or Indostan, under
appellations proverbial of the most compleat despotism.
That is not a just government, nor is property secure under it, where
arbitrary restrictions, exemptions, and monopolies deny to part of its
citizens that free use of their faculties, and free choice of their
occupations, which not only constitute their property in the general
sense of the word; but are the means of acquiring property strictly so
called. What must be the spirit of legislation where a manufacturer of
linen cloth is forbidden to bury his own child in a linen shroud, in order
to favour his neighbour who manufactures woolen cloth; where the
manufacturer and wearer of woolen cloth are again forbidden the
oeconomical use of buttons of that material, in favor of the
manufacturer of buttons of other materials!
A just security to property is not afforded by that government, under
which unequal taxes oppress one species of property and reward
another species: where arbitrary taxes invade the domestic sanctuaries
of the rich, and excessive taxes grind the faces of the poor; where the
keenness and competitions of want are deemed an insufficient spur to
labor, and taxes are again applied, by an unfeeling policy, as another
spur; in violation of that sacred property, which Heaven, in decreeing
man to earn his bread by the sweat of his brow, kindly reserved to him,
in the small repose that could be spared from the supply of his
necessities.
If there be a government then which prides itself in maintaining the
inviolability of property; which provides that none shall be taken
directly
even for public use without indemnification to the owner, and yet
directly
violates the property which individuals have in their opinions,
their religion, their persons, and their faculties; nay more, which
indirectly
violates their property, in their actual possessions, in the labor
that acquires their daily subsistence, and in the hallowed remnant of
time which ought to relieve their fatigues and soothe their cares, the
influence [inference?] will have been anticipated, that such a


government is not a pattern for the United States.
If the United States mean to obtain or deserve the full praise due to
wise and just governments, they will equally respect the rights of
property, and the property in rights: they will rival the government that
most sacredly guards the former; and by repelling its example in
violating the latter, will make themselves a pattern to that and all other
governments.

NEVADA | In the state of Nevada, Cliven Bundy and his family are currently caught in a fight over land with the Federal government. This is over his long standing refusal to acknowledge a 1993 modification to grazing rights on the land.

Bundy claims the land has been in his family since the 1800s. On Saturday, hundreds of federal officials, helicopters, low flying aircraft and hired cowboys, began rounding up Bundy's cattle in northeastern Clark County.

Bundy stated to the media, "I have raised cattle on that land, which is public land for the people of Clark County, all my life. Why I raise cattle there and why I can raise cattle there is because I have preemptive rights... who is the trespasser here? Who is the trespasser on this land? Is the United States trespassing on Clark County, Nevada, land? Or is it Cliven Bundy who is trespassing on Clark County, Nevada, land? Who's the trespasser?"

More than 100 supporters violated a crudely taped off "First Amendment Area" to rally in support of the Bundy family. They erected two flagpoles with the words "We the People" above a flag which read, "Liberty Freedom For God We Stand". The first amendment area stood empty, with one sign nearby declaring, "1st Amendment is not an area."

The feds say the move is about enforcing the law and protecting the endangered desert tortoise, but the Bundy family says the spat represents a showdown between big government and American farmers.

The Feds claim that the removal of the cattle from the land will cost taxpayers roughly $ 3 million.

There are rumors going around that Mr. Bundy is not asking for help. That is a lie. He is asking for any and all help with this situation IMMEDIATELY. 2. Last estimates are of over 200 Federal Agents at the Bundy Ranch. 3.A (as of yet, unknown) militia unit in Nevada has put out orders to stand down-OMA is NOT honoring those orders. And has, as of 2 hours ago, mobilized. 4. Mr. Bundy is overwhelmed with phone calls and emails. This is the Message from Jerry Bruckhart: "OMA has deployed to Clark county Nevada, in defense of the Bundy family. Make no mistake about it, the men that step on the field of battle will not decide the outcome of this engagement. YOU WILL. If the enemy (The Federal Agents) is under the impression that we are alone, they will believe that we are an isolated group of trouble makers and the likely hood that they will engage us is high. PATRIOT POWER IS AWESOME!! The war is still ongoing, but a battle was won today! Today Jared Bundy walked into the war zone to inquire about how his family's cattle were being treated during the cattle rustling roundup. The reinforcements started moving in like flies. It was quite clear to see that the Bureau Of Land Management also known as the (BLM), had put out the call for back up for the arrest of Jared Bundy. That is when the power of the patriots change the outcome! It is so awesome and it brought a few tears to my eyes seeing folks stand up together for what is right. I am praying for this family and I hope more folks can stand with the Bundys. There really is power in numbers.

The BLM says they're moving in, not to encroach on the man's property rights, but because Bundy didn't pay "grazing fees," which the Bureau has imposed on land developers "who disturb tortoise habitat on public land," according to the Associated Press.

Throughout the housing boom in the 2000s, the Bureau was earning enough to fund the Desert Tortoise Conservation Center (DTCC) in southern Las Vegas, a habitat "created in 1991 to house wild desert tortoises removed from the path of development and to use those tortoises to aid recovery of the species." Its operating budget was about $1 million per year.
