My problem has nothing to do with being concerned about being rounded up V......I had more or less started thinking about this after the last one and that was way before I became aware of, or involved in, political issues.

I just felt very uncomfortable with the entire process which felt more like an interrogation by CPS or a police officer who didn't believe what he'd been told and I really don't see what most of the questions had to do with anything really.

And somehow I imagine that this time around, the questions will have become more intrusive because government itself has grown much bigger and our process has become such a tangled, convoluted mess that nothing can be simple and straightforward.

As for the illegal aliens getting the bulk of everything.....well, that's really going to happen anyway no matter how many citizens do or don't submit to the census.

Just my opinion of course but I think that non cooperation with the census will be more a way for most people to protest against what has become of our government and this country. We have no control over so much of what they're doing that it's only logical that people are going to act upon what they can control and one of those things would be the census because they can't force you to participate.

the govt doesnt need to know what i make. go look at my tax files.
the govt doesnt need to know i live in an apt and pay rent.
what do they expect when one lives in an apt.
how many kids do i have- look at my tax files.

I absolutely agree JW62.

The purpose of the census is to count the population, isn't it?

Well then, all that's necessary should be the questions which pertain to that.

The rest of it is none of their business and, quite honestly, nothing which needs to be asked since it has nothing to do whatsoever with the intent of the Census. Or, maybe I should say, what the original intent was.

It just goes back to the old adage which says that people will only do to you what you allow them to do. And, when it comes to the government, we don't have to allow them to be so intrusive.

Unfortunately, counting all the people includes the illegals with a dozen anchor babies each will get more dollars for their state than the rest of us legal citizens in states that do not have the influx. I am not too pleased with the way Chicago is trying to run the country.

Why do people keep posting nonsense article like this?
