    SC Johnson said their boycott is a lie because the lady i spoke with said they
    never targeted the show for advertisement.
    I told them they need to consider it considering he is number 2 on cable news and hes not even prime time.
    Then for calling i am getting sent a coupon for a free Johnson product.
    ==============================
    i got the same thing on the P&G as mentioned above.
    i said its a shame to let one sentence decide who gets advertisement and who doesnt.
    ==============================
    Progressive- they lady told me that they DID NOT pull ads from the show because they never really targeted that hour slot for advertising. I made mention of the group that was trying to get progressive and others to boycott and said color of change and said that along should tell you that its a racist kinda group. The lady i spoke with agreed

    WHEN MAKING CALLS--- inform the person you speak with and remind then that Glenn Beck is the SECOND most watched show on cable news and its not even prime time

    SARGENTO said they stopped advertising on Beck because of the skit last week where one of his staffers had a pelosi mask and he made a dumb remark about their being poisoning in the wine

    and the person said that color of change NEVER contacted them about ceasing advertising.
    so that makes two companies on the list who this group lied about

    Obama's environmental czar started group targeting Beck
    Attacks follow Fox News host's reporting of White House adviser's radical activism

    President Obama's "green jobs czar" is co-founder of a black activist organization that has led a campaign prompting major advertisers to withdraw from Glenn Beck's top-rated Fox News Channel program.

    In recent weeks, Beck has done several critical segments about Van Jones, who was appointed as the special adviser for green jobs, enterprise and innovation at the White House Council on Environmental Quality.

    Beck's segments were based in part on WND's reporting that Jones was as an admitted radical communist and black nationalist leader.

    Now Colors of Change, an activist organization seeking to "strengthen Black America's political voice" has led a furious campaign against Beck culminating in major companies such as Geico and Lawyers.com pulling their spots from the Fox News star's daily show. The group also says it has garnered about 75,000 signatories for an online petition against Beck to be sent to advertisers.

    Add State Farm to the list. From a blogger:

    Dear ****,

    Thank you for your recent e-mail concerning State Farm’s advertising on the Fox network.

    We have a policy of not advertising on political or opinion programming. These ads were mistakenly aired, we have corrected this issue and have taken steps to make sure it does not happen again.

    Understanding our millions of customers and thousands of associates hold a full spectrum of views on political issues, State Farm has a long-standing practice of not advertising in political discussion programming regardless of a program’s political point of view.

    Because of the recent situation, State Farm is now evaluating its commercial placement practices to ensure its political issues advertising guidelines are maintained.

    Thank you for your e-mail and your continued support of State Farm Insurance, both are greatly appreciated.

    Sincerely,

    Good question. I would expect them not to, but I'll bet they do anyway. I dropped cable so I am unable to verify.
