So voting for Gavin Newsom is a "payback" vote? That's fine, I can go along with this. But Gavin Newsom is mr. sanctuary in SF. I'm going to have a difficult time voting for this guy. Then again, Gavin Newsom is probably less of a threat than the raza disciple and illegal invader lover, Abel Maldonado.

Good grief! Vote YES for marijuana? Are they kidding? Sure, let more people drive around in California all relaxed, and easy moving. We don't have enough zoned out users already.

Marijuana is only a gateway drug to bigger and better happiness and relaxation. It'll be great for the kids too. They can run around and steal a days worth from the local users/growers back yards.

Vote for Democratic Gavin Newsom? He must be one of the all time worst candidates they could have put out there. Total gay loving pro-abortion sanctuary city lover.

Meg Whitman or Jerry Brown. Bad and bad. California, what a state. There comes a time when you just flat out run out of options within the two parties.
Ron Paul in 2011 "[...]no amnesty should be granted. Maybe a 'green card' with an asterisk should be issued[...]a much better option than deportation."

John and Ken Voter Guide 2014

John and Ken Voter Guide 2014

    Posted Wednesday, October 8th 2014 @ 4pm
The 2014 general election is on November 4th! Here's how John and Ken are voting when they go to the polls:

PROPOSITION 1 - Water Bond. Funding for Water Quality, Supply, Treatment and Storage Projects: VOTE YES

It's far from the best idea. There should be even more spent on the water shortage, but with the Jerry Brown crowd controlling the Legislature, it's the best you are going to get for now.

PROPOSITION 2 - State Budget. Budget Stabilization Account. Legislative Constitutional Amendment: VOTE YES

It's the "rainy day fund" concept, this time to pay down the wall of debt. It could be better too, but the opposition is the crowd that just wants to gobble up all of the money for schools and we know where that leads. Anybody want to know where all the lottery money went?

PROPOSITION 45 - Healthcare insurance. Rate Changes. Initiative Statute: VOTE NO

Too much power for the insurance commissioner over healthcare costs.

PROPOSITION 46 - Drug and Alcohol Testing of Doctors. Medical Negligence Lawsuits. Initiative Statute: VOTE NO

Lead with your best stuff - that's clear from the title which starts with the drug testing. It's really all about the trial lawyers, who are behind this bid to quadruple the medical malpractice awards.

PROPOSITION 47 - Criminal Sentences. Misdemeanor Penalties. Initiative Statute: VOTE NO

If you thought prison realignment was bad, here's another which would allow burglars back onto the streets. It also promises the magic bullet of "treatment and rehabilitation" instead. Don't you think tough criminal laws are at least part of the reason California's crime rates have plummeted so much? Don't give in to another attempt to return us to scary times.

PROPOSITION 48 - Indian Gaming Compacts. Referendum: VOTE YES

Yes, more Indian casinos, but we get some money from the tribes for this, so why not?

    STATE CANDIDATES

    GOVERNOR: NEEL KASHKARI

Do we need to say anything here?
    LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR: RON NEHRING

    Gavin Newsom must be stopped.

SECRETARY OF STATE and CONTROLLER: ABSTAIN

Both GOP candidates said they are undecided on the Governor's race. Wow, how pathetic as they try to distance themselves from being who they are, the GOP nominees. We abstain.

    TREASURER: GREG CONLON

    Enough of John Chiang.

    ATTORNEY GENERAL: RONALD GOLD

Don't know much about him, but Kamala Harris loves prison realignment and standing down on deporting illegal immigrants. Whoops, we mean deporting people who are not in the country legally.

    INSURANCE COMMISSIONER: TED GAINES

SUPERINTENDENT OF PUBLIC INSTRUCTION: MARSHALL TUCK

The one guy on the list we really hope wins as he supports the court ruling abolishing teacher tenure and seniority.

    BOARD OF EQUALIZATION: GEORGE RUNNER
He's running again for District 1 and he's the only one we care about. Ask him a question, get a real answer.
    LA COUNTY SHERIFF: JIM MCDONNELL
When the other choice is Paul Tanaka, do you even have to ask?
