Citizen Perfectly Satirizes Gun Ordinances: “We Can’t Ever Be Too Safe, Can We?

Citizen Perfectly Satirizes Gun Ordinances: “We Can’t Ever Be Too Safe, Can We?

A citizen speaks to the City Council in opposition to a local “loaded carry” ban ordinance one of the Councilors has brought for consideration. No facts, figures, statistics, or other evidence of any existing problem has been presented by the sponsoring Councilor. She has however, made emotional pleas to “protect the children”, dropped the “Sandy Hook” tragedy as supporting gun regulation, and other such nonsense.

She actually said “I know there are statistics out there but I didn’t look them up”.

Meanwhile, the Chief of Police has stated that the town has NEVER had an incident involving an open carrier. Hmmmmm no problem? Why an ordinance then? Oh yeah….to FEEL good.

This citizen uses satire to point out the idiocy of the proposed ordinance.

City Council "Study session" meeting in which Councilor Voisin introduces a proposed ordinance she has brought to the Council. The ordinance would institute a "loaded carry ban" for firearms within the city. However, the city has no problem for the ordinance to address and to top it off, their ordinance wouldn't affect anyone with a concealed carry license from the state of Oregon.

It will however, expose the city to lawsuits as they proposed ordinance exceeds their authority under state law as well as the 4th amendment to the Constitution.

The clips in this video ARE NOT in chronological order. However, no attempt was made to misrepresent what any of the speakers said. It was only reordered in order to make more sense of the entirety of the conversations.
