Coming Soon: The Epic Battle Between Obama & the Tea Party Movement in 2014

Marx vs. Madison; Obama vs. the Tea Party

Everyone loves to watch a movie with an epic battle. What makes the battle epic is that a hero will emerge. Remember the movie 300 and the final battle scene? One of the 300 was wounded pretty badly and the leader sent him back home to tell the others. So it was actually 299, but who is counting. The message of the scene was this — you may kill us because we are small in numbers, but we will fight for our pride which is the same as principles.

Oh, by the way we sent 1 back to warn the others which is a way of getting the word out that Obamacare is bad for the country. Now that the debt ceiling and defunding Obamacare are behind us, the battle is brewing for 2014.

Tea Party House and Senate Conservatives vs President Barack Obama. This battle has been going on since the spring of 2009 when the Tea Party emerged from the ashes of the dust responding to what they believed was a government take over of health care. The Tea Party made major headway into disrupting the GOP establishment ‘get along’ policy. They attended town hall meetings held by their representatives and demanded that they not support what we know today as Obamacare. A few of the town hall meetings were very heated and Tea Party made it known that we do not want this. That is where the battle begin.

President Obama knew he had to get out in front of the Tea Party or his so-called health care legacy would not happen. The mission was to discredit and dismantle the Tea Party. In an interview with former Newsweek writer and MSNBC analyst Jonathan Alter in November 2009, Obama fired the first shot heard around the political world by calling the Tea Party ‘teabaggers’. What an insulting and degrading term to use in relation to American citizens who were just voicing their concerns about the government. The term teabagger is a sexually explicit slur. For the President of the United States of America to refer in that manner to American citizens who were just exercising their constitutional rights was disgraceful. Obama made the message clear to the rest of the democratic party and liberal media. Do whatever it takes to bring down the Tea Party.

For 4 years, the Tea Party movement was labeled racists, bigots, hateful, etc… all because they opposed Obama’s policies of Marxism and Liberalism. The rhetoric against the Tea Party rose to a level of hate most recently during the defund Obamacare fight and the partial government shutdown a few weeks ago. The names that democrats and those int he liberal media called the Tea Party was unheard of.

MSNBC analyst Cynthia Tucker called the republicans ‘terrorists’ and said the Tea Party is steeped with racism. Another MSNBC analyst, Michael Eric Dyson, called the Tea Party ‘terrorists’. MSNBC host Chris Matthews called Senator Ted Cruz a political terrorist and most recently Democratic Congressman Steve Cohen called the Tea Party domestic enemies. I could go on and on. Now that we have witnessed the assault on the Tea Party let us not forget the word ‘epic’.

This is when a hero emerges from the assault. In this case, we had heroes emerge. They are Senators Ted Cruz and Mike Lee. In the mist of the verbal onslaughts, they stood on their principles and convictions.

As a Tea Party conservative, you could not have asked for anything better than watching your heroes take the blows from the left and remain standing after the dust settled. Cruz and Lee warned us about the danger of Obamacare.

They vehemently said that Obamacare should be defunded and that it was not ready for primetime. They even received blowback from within the Republican Party. Yet still, they marched on. We now see the HealthCare.gov Obamacare website is not working properly. This puts a strain on the Obama administration.

No one has a valid a reason as to why it is not working.

Obama’s administration had over 3 years to work on this and all we are getting is the blame game. Now, the liberal media and democrats are starting to complain about Obamacare. They are finding out they can’t keep their doctors or insurance plan along with the government plans which are a tad bit higher. People are becoming frustrated and are feeling they were lied to.

There are now some democrats calling for a year delay of Obamacare, the same thing Republicans were calling for before the debt ceiling deal. Is it safe to say the democrats knew all along Obamacare that was not ready for primetime, but because of political pressure they tippy-toed the party line to vote lock and step with the Democratic establishment? Some of those Democrats are up for re-election in 2014.

Speaking of 2014, it is just around the corner and, remember, in a epic battle a hero emerges. It looks like Senators Ted Cruz and Mike Lee, along with other Tea Party congressmen and the Tea Party itself, are standing in the epic circle. All they have to do now is just sit back and let it happen. Oh, for the record, I stand with the Tea Party.
