Also, I just looked at my birth certificate. It says at the top "Certification of Live Birth" Does this mean I wasn't born in Fort Worth Tx on August 29th 1975? It's not valid? Did my parents dupe me?

jshhmr, are you suggesting that the picture of the person holding a COLB is sufficient evidence to prove that Obama is a natural born citizen and is eligible to hold government office? Also, I'm sure you noticed that the date on the document is June 2007. Doesn't that strike you just a little strange? One simple question, why have ALL legal and legitimate attempts to see Obama's BC and college records been blocked? These attempts have been well documented. I suggest that you thoroughly review the numerous discussions that are on this site.

As an independent, you might as well given me a website to disprove what I say called "IHateObama.com." I gave you the REAL certificate number. When I get a link from the left from Huffingtonpost, and a link from WorldNetDaily, it is complete opposites. It is up to me to research and distinguish between the two. After EXTENSIVE research on BOTH sides, I have found that the Obama birth certificate issue is a joke. jshhmr, it's clear that you think that Obama is constitutionally legitimate and you hated Bush. Ok, this much is clear. I get it. But nonetheless you failed to address some simple questions and this speaks volumes about your position... why are BO's hospital and College records sealed and why hasn't his Long Form Birth Certificate been released? There are numerous individuals and attorney's around the country who have staked their lives and reputation on this subject. This shouldn't be taken lightly and simply discarded as a massive conspiracy theory. The American people have the right to know the answers to these questions. They have NOT received the answers. Period. Obama could put this all to rest easily instead of having his army of attorney's continue to run interference for him. Hating Bush doesn't lend any less legitimacy to the demands for information on BO that we are entitled to. If you can't be convinced of this then nothing else can be gained, wouldn't you agree?

By the way, I am an Independent and have never been registered as a Republican or Democrat. Additionally, how could you know that I wasn't opposed to Bush's policies? The answer is, you don't. Your assertions are coming off as a rant.

I don't know your age and how long you've been around to observe politics and the evolution of this country but I'll go out on a limb and guess that you are under 40. In my lifetime I have never observed what I see happening now to this country under BO. It is unprecedented and ominous and I know that I am only one among millions that feel this way. I have also never seen such a movement to get answers to such simple questions, that as American citizens we have every right to know, but instead been stonewalled at every turn and treated as nothing more than ignorant subjects to be ignored.

I'll leave you now to ponder the subject if you have a mind to but don't have the time nor inclination to convince you to open your eyes a little and recognize your rights and duties as an American citizen.

It also says on the COLB that the race of the father is African. There is no such race. I can be white and born in Africa and be and African. In the 60's we didn't refer to black people as African nor did we call them African-Americans. They were either black, colored or Negro. I repreat, African is not a race.

jshhmr, For those of us out there who are "birth certificate" challenged, here is a comparison between what most of us know as a Birth Certificate. It is referred to as a Long Form Certificate of Live Birth. The other is known as a short form Certification of Live Birth. Note the date on the form, 1963. This was the standard acceptable form issued during the time of Obama's birth. The differences are glaring and obvious. Obama hasn't produced the long form which we all have to produce when enrolling in school, obtaining a passport, etc.
