There are more idols in the world than there are realities.[1]

Ann Coulter visited Mr. Hannity Monday evening, February 06 to announce her endorsement of Mitt Romney. Columnist Coulter was in character: tossing her long blond hair, laughing sarcastically at her own remarks and those of her earnest host; wise cracking, name dropping and promoting her latest book. Its title, if not her behavior and appearance alluded to her moral nature and concern for the well being of America and Americans, ahem.

NBC has begun advertising its news programs on FOX. The shouting on the Malarkey hour increases by the season as does the number of former or current Democratic Party consultants or strategists. Orwell would understand: fair & balanced = superficial, repetitive, trivializing and vulgar.

But events of major importance have received substantial discussion on Hannity. The main concerns the Directorate’s escalating jihad against religion, particularly Christianity. This results from the stipulations of the proposed National Health Care program mandating all hospitals to provide “women’s health services,” contraception. This is a violation of the First Amendment’s protection of religion from Dictates by the State; it is so blatant and offensive it may be meant to prepare for a change in administrations. Or is it the arrogance of power producing an ‘in-your-face’ moment that goes too far to control? It’s a tonic defining moment of Nanny-State fascism and is waking many Americans. It also is a useful experiment by the masters of the distraction machine on public reflexes and citizen viability.

‘The envelope’ is made to be pushed. The current administration was put in place by the media and other major players to see how much collectivism, impoverishment and State intrusion citizens would swallow. A lot of damage has been done and the Directorate has a clearer view of what it has accomplished and of the areas in which it needs to scale back the pace of destruction. As a result, America may get some time to recover, a bit, under a neo-con or semi-conservative administration. This is not to be despised: at the lower levels of government significant changes can be made not all of which will be obliterated by the bureaucracy. In the meantime, the awareness of the need for genuine return to the Constitution as an alternative to and buttress against Statism will continue to grow.

The jihad against religion, against all religions that encourage birth and discourage or forbid abortion (except when the life of the mother truly is at stake, not just her thoughts about her ‘mental health’ or financial situation) also has become a direct assault on freedom of speech, that is, on the entirety of the First Amendment. This occurred when the Armed Forces forbade the reading of that part of a letter from the Catholic hierarchy saying that they “could not and would not comply” with the State mandate. It would be a stretch to say this implied disobeying the orders of the putative Commander in Chief; it simply states that the government must respect America’s primary religious basis. This administration has succeeded in befouling the function of the armed forces, religious service, freedom of speech (only for those who scream obscenities at funerals or who carry mock dead fetuses and chant slogans like, “kill a fetus for Jesus” in front of abortion clinics; the economy and financial system; the housing market and lies outright about unemployment numbers.

If they are so concerned about women’s health [sic] why not mail every woman from 10 -60 an annual supply of RU-486. Or kill two birds with one stone: help Europe’s failing economy by importing female condoms from Denmark. Just screw them and plastic will prevent problems. Fannie Mae can sell them.

Imagine if the Federal or a State government announced that Muslims must exchange the Koran for Marvel Comics or serve pork at their charity centers; and when complaints came , which no doubt would be civil, said, ‘don’t worry; we’ll give you a year’s grace period to work out the transition.’ That could not be done for it would be religious bigotry. The double standards always favor those who eviscerate the nation.

Several weeks ago, Newt Gingrich was the first to emphasize the fact that the current administration is engaged in a war against religion, specifically the Scriptural foundation of America. He also was the first to stress that the choice in November would be between a State that pushes people into dependency and manages their lives and one that encourages the ability to find work particular to one’s abilities; to liberate Americans from the lethal hand of government ‘regulation’ (‘protection’). Now candidates Santorum and Romney are stressing these points, the former with more frequency and credibility, given his background. Anyone who saw and heard Romney speak after the Nevada and Minnesota, Colorado and Missouri votes know that he makes great speeches that succinctly identify and criticize the policies of the current President. This is nice but no surprise for he can afford excellent speech writers. They are doing a good job but it doesn’t tell us much about him except that he relies on speech writers and attack ads (now targeting Santorum). His handlers are positioning Romney as an ‘outsider,’ a quaint appellation for someone who has been Governor of Massachusetts. Perhaps they can accomplish this redefinition; surely with the media’s help they could. Romney does not hate America or Americans as some high officials do. When he spoke of his father, with whom he grew up and saw work, he spoke with obvious pride, love and firsthand knowledge of how someone can realize the American dream by hard work rather than by magic, underground channels or autobiographies of dubious provenance. Romney is tall and rugged with clean-cut, square features; his black hair, perhaps natural, is grayed at the temples in aesthetically perfect fashion and he looks natural in jeans and a white shirt, sleeves rolled up (ready to work) and displaying manly forearms. It would be an improvement, no question.
It tells something about the value of the news media that on the evening of February 07 it spent four hours speculating about the horse race aspects of the voting in process and to date and not until 12:35 am EST did anyone venture to explain how delegates would emerge from the voting. The distraction machine wants everyone focused on the score, just as in a ball game, and who is the winner. This being politics in the postmodern era, the focus also is on perception which the media molds even as it purports to analyze what ‘reality’ is. That’s quaint: the 2-D distraction machine telling us about ‘reality.’ They have an animus against reality as intense as that of feminist Professors who assay to “re-territorialize the performativity…and lesbian appropriation of the phallus as a site for radical change in the hegemonic and heterosexual social structures [since] the phallus is a transferable phantasm and its naturalized link to masculine morphology can be called into question…”[2] To get teachings like this for their children parents pay up to sixty thousand dollars /year. This is what comes of feminism and affirmative action, an issue that no one seriously addresses: they are ‘third rail’ issues. During his speech after the Nevada primary, Romney made a cutting but apt comment about the President’s “friends in faculty lounges.” It’s not clear what he would or could do to clear out the decay in these lounges or in Higher Education generally but certainly a thorough purge has been needed for decades. Better still, let donors to conservative causes build and endow new Colleges and stop contributing to extant ones not least the far left Ivy League and its echelon of insiders, globalists and their groomed successors. That’s a way to create plenty of new jobs and to restore the nation, guaranteed.

But really, “the phallus is a phantasm”? Only to warped minds. Actually, as few people need to be told, it is quite real but can be approximated grossly by various devices. As for masculine morphology, media, the site of ‘opinion leaders’ have been suggesting in many ways that it be surgically altered and gender re-defined: the judicial overturning of California’s vote forbidding ‘gay marriage’ is an example. It would be very valuable for this nation to purge Colleges and Universities of feminists, Marxists, ‘queer theorists’ and related multicultural rot, as well as the ‘affirmative action’ that brings thousands of foreign faculty (including Muslims that teach English and American literature) to take jobs in our Universities every year. Will any of the candidates take this on? It was excellent to hear Gingrich bitingly critique the biased and narrow perspectives and ‘self-answering’ questions of the media at his Press Conference after the Nevada primary. It was a brave display of intelligence and articulate wit.

Do any of them have the courage to expose the horrors of “no-fault” divorce and the war on fathers that proceeds in media, academia, courtrooms and lawless law?

The next President must abolish the NEA and press States to pass laws that require that middle school teachers have at least a BA in the subject they teach and that High School Teachers have a BA and MA. And that they pass tests based, in the non-science fields, on content prior to 1970 when the destruction of the curriculum passed a threshold leading to cultural disintegration and growing illiteracy: when the truth was erased, the erasure forgotten and the lie became truth.[3]

The “Occupy” people have succeeded the State-Union protestors of fall 2010. No doubt they are well-funded. Like those who gather to protest the meetings of the E–8 or E-20, they are in well-managed dialectic synchronicity with the State and global forces they purport to oppose. One would encourage them to occupy the White House but it already has been occupied.
The State’s jihad against Christianity and the 1st Amendment was noted above. About a week ago, CNN featured a segment with the President claiming he had been profoundly influenced by a ‘prayer meeting’ with Billy Graham. A quote was screened to the effect that since then, the President “often gets down on his knees” to do heaven knows what. Perhaps the heat of campaign season and the need to soften his Communist-fascist arrogance had led to a downplaying of contempt for those ‘deluded and bitter Americans who cling to their guns and religion,’ etc. Then they stepped in the cow-pie with these mandates from National ‘health insurance’ [sic].

Like those feminist theories, supra, the abortion-contraception-gay marriage agenda, as well as government and NGO intrusions into what one eats, into the degradation of the young by technology and TV ‘entertainment,’ most trends in our culture trace back to the Directorate whose goals are the reduction and management of population. Fracturing the traditional family breaks society near its root; distorting and reversing gender roles, not least in the armed forces and Academia, the teaching profession and media inhibits and even precludes forming identity and natural bonds in which each sex tends toward the role best suited to it. After nearly forty years of postmodernism and the century of Modernism that blazed its way, it will be a rough road back to recovery but it’s one many people are eager to begin, so alarming has the evidence of rot, in every area, become.

Time to clean house; few better ways to do this then to insure that the Bill of Rights, the sine qua non for formation of this Republic, is enforced as written. This would interdict the Statism and deflate its media facilitators that are degrading and destroying this nation and the world. Imagine silencing the moronic and self-congratulatory gaming of the media harlots tasked, and remunerated, by the Directorate to bury realities and erect idols that engross all attention, leaving humans unheard, locked out and in the dark.
