tinybob, I have thought that the Democrats were committing political suicide since the first day Obama took office. His ideas and methods were beyond the pale even for a left of center Democrats. As you know, Cap and Trade is only one in a litany of radical bills that Obama has up his sleeve. It amazes me everyday that his fellow Democrats are following in lockstep with this madness even when they know their party is about to die a "death of a thousand cuts" from the radical direction they are driving this country!
Never underestimate the ability of the Republican Party to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

I have a feeling, that this bill isnt the last crazy pork roast we'll see to jump out of the Obama BBQ. I come from a long family line of republicans, and as a republican myself that's never played the sides game with political parties, I must say that the Obama Administration is by far, in my young lifetime, the worst ever democratic party to ever exist.

I think this administration is going to hang themselves with the bills they are trying to shove down our throats. When you see that many Democrat voters calling in to CSPAN all in opposition, that sends a strong signal. Unfortunately, on the flip side, we have a Republican party in disarray, so who takes up the slack? The Democrats may win again by default, and that's a depressing thought.
