Egypt's Media Shows Obama As Satan

Egypt's Media Shows Obama As Satan

    09/05/13

Let's look at Syria in context. We're fighting against the current leadership to replace them with an unknown. That unknown could be much worse for the security of the United States and Israel. Proof that is possibly, Egypt.
    Raymond Ibrahim:

Popular and widely read Egyptian newspaper Al Wafd published the above picture today portraying U.S. President Barack Hussein Obama as Satan himself. The unflattering picture has been making the rounds on Facebook in the Middle East and, according to Al Wafd, is representative of the hatred growing numbers of people in the region have for the American president, thanks to his staunch and unwavering support for Islamists and jihadiis — whether in Nigeria, Libya, Egypt, or Syria — even as they terrorize, murder, rape, and burn down Christian churches, that is, even as they engage in diabolical activities.

Egyptian media portrays Barack Obama as Satan, U.S. media silent

It's probably safe to say that Egyptian media won't be portraying Barack Obama as "god of all things" anytime soon. An Egyptian media source has actually taken the opposite position, portraying the president as the devil himself, PJ Media reported Wednesday.
Raymond Ibrahim, author of "Crucified Again: Exposing Islam’s New War on Christians," said the Egyptian paperAl Wafd published a grotesque picture portraying Obama as Satan, and said it represents the growing hatred many people in the region have for the president, thanks, he said, to Obama's staunch and unwavering support forIslamists and jihadis, "whether in Nigeria, Libya, Egypt, or Syria — even as they terrorize, murder, rape, and burn down Christian churches, that is, even as they engage in diabolical activities."
A blog post at the Gateway Pundit wondered if the media -- including Fox News' Bill O'Reilly -- would denounce the image as racist, reminding readers of the controversy sparked by a series on the History Channelwhere a character portraying the devil had an uncanny resemblance to Obama.
A post at Atlas Shrugged says that while the world "respected the forceful and decisive Bush," they "scorn and disrespect the weak and feckless Obama, and therefore us."
News of the picture broke the same day Obama said the world, not him, set the "red line" on chemical weapons use in Syria.
Al Wafd, Ibrahim said, is a popular outlet widely read in Egypt.
The photo has been making the rounds on the Internet, and has been mentioned by a number of blogs. The so-called "mainstream media," however, has not covered the photo as of this writing.

Poll: Majority Of Americans Approve Of Sending Congress To Syria

    NEWSSyriaNewsISSUE 49•36 • Sep 5, 2013

A majority of U.S. citizens believe congressional leaders in both the House and Senate must be sent to war-torn Syria immediately.

WASHINGTON—As President Obama continues to push for a plan of limited military intervention in Syria, a new poll of Americans has found that though the nation remains wary over the prospect of becoming involved in another Middle Eastern war, the vast majority of U.S. citizens strongly approve of sending Congress to Syria.
The New York Times/CBS News poll showed that though just 1 in 4 Americans believe that the United States has a responsibility to intervene in the Syrian conflict, more than 90 percent of the public is convinced that putting all 535 representatives of the United States Congress on the ground in Syria—including Senate pro tempore Patrick Leahy, House Speaker John Boehner, House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, and, in fact, all current members of the House and Senate—is the best course of action at this time.
“I believe it is in the best interest of the United States, and the global community as a whole, to move forward with the deployment of all U.S. congressional leaders to Syria immediately,” respondent Carol Abare, 50, said in the nationwide telephone survey, echoing the thoughts of an estimated 9 in 10 Americans who said they “strongly support” any plan of action that involves putting the U.S. House and Senate on the ground in the war-torn Middle Eastern state. “With violence intensifying every day, now is absolutely the right moment—the perfect moment, really—for the United States to send our legislators to the region.”
“In fact, my preference would have been for Congress to be deployed months ago,” she added.
Citing overwhelming support from the international community—including that of the Arab League, Turkey, and France, as well as Great Britain, Iraq, Iran, Russia, Japan, Mexico, China, and Canada, all of whom are reported to be unilaterally in favor of sending the U.S. Congress to Syria—the majority of survey respondents said they believe the United States should refocus its entire approach to Syria’s civil war on the ground deployment of U.S. senators and representatives, regardless of whether the Assad regime used chemical weapons or not.
In fact, 91 percent of those surveyed agreed that the active use of sarin gas attacks by the Syrian government would, if anything, only increase poll respondents’ desire to send Congress to Syria.
Public opinion was essentially unchanged when survey respondents were asked about a broader range of attacks, with more than 79 percent of Americans saying they would strongly support sending Congress to Syria in cases of bomb and missile attacks, 78 percent supporting intervention in cases of kidnappings and executions, and 75 percent saying representatives should be deployed in cases where government forces were found to have used torture.
When asked if they believe that Sen. Rand Paul should be deployed to Syria, 100 percent of respondents said yes.
“There’s no doubt in my mind that sending Congress to Syria—or, at the very least, sending the major congressional leaders in both parties—is the correct course of action,” survey respondent and Iraq war veteran Maj. Gen. John Mill said, noting that his opinion was informed by four tours of duty in which he saw dozens of close friends sustain physical as well as emotional injury and post-traumatic stress. “There is a clear solution to our problems staring us right in the face here, and we need to take action.”
“Sooner rather than later, too,” Mill added. “This war isn’t going to last forever.”

Did You Know The Destruction Of Damascus Is In Bible Prophecy — And A Whole Lot More

    BY JOE_BAKANOVIC SEPTEMBER 5, 2013

    PROPHECY: The Destruction Of Damascus

A coming Nuclear War In The Middle East?

Many people will dismiss this post because they have convinced themselves that God is dead. This is too bad. I pray there is still time left for them to realize the error of their ways, to repent and to seek God and His Son. God is real, He lives, and so does His Son. And it is only by accepting Christ as our personal Savior and by placing our trust in Him that we can be saved from ourselves. God is good and because He loves us and wants us to know Him, He has left signs for us to discover. It is by coming to understand these signs that we discover and come to understand what humans can know and understand about God. One of these signs is prophecy. It is through prophecy that we can be sure Jesus is the Messiah. Now, I don’t make any claims to being any sort of ‘expert’ on Scripture or Biblical prophecy. I am no better than anyone else who studies God’s word: I depend on His Grace and the Holy Spirit to guide me and give me understanding. But I do know this: there are some prophecies that – if nothing else – should have us paying closer attention to the things of God and God’s kingdom.

For example: Do you know that Isaiah 17 tell of the destruction of Damascus?

    Isaiah 17
    New International Version (NIV)

    A Prophecy Against Damascus

17 A prophecy against Damascus:“See, Damascus will no longer be a city but will become a heap of ruins.

2 The cities of Aroer will be deserted
and left to flocks, which will lie down,
with no one to make them afraid.

3 The fortified city will disappear from Ephraim,
    and royal power from Damascus;
the remnant of Aram will be
like the glory of the Israelites,”
    declares the Lord Almighty.

Trust me, before you dismiss this one, you need to
