!!ELF claims responsibility for arson fires in WA!!

'Street of Dreams' homes destroyed by arson, say police
March 3rd, 2008Fire burned four homes at a "Street of Dreams" model luxury home development north of Woodinville early Monday, and fire officials say ELF, a well-known arsonist group, has claimed responsibility.

I will post more on this as I find it. If you all can, look at the video, the three homes, Street of Dreams show homes, were not only totally destroyed, but the fire department had said they could not go in as the homes were also rigged up with booby traps (had the firemen entered, they could have been injured or killed).

This is domestic terrorism, right up there with illegals terrorizing Americans as gangs.

(CNN) -- Fire engulfed five luxury homes Monday morning at a subdivision north of Seattle in what could be a case of ecoterrorism, officials said.

Firefighters attack blazes at luxury homes Monday in suburban Seattle, Washington.

A sign with the letters "ELF" was found at the scene of the fires in the "Street of Dreams" development in Woodinville, Washington, said Chief Rick Eastman of Snohomish County Fire District No. 7.

Eastman did not say if the sign is believed to be from the Earth Liberation Front, which the FBI has called an ecoterrorist group.

"Built green? Nope black!" the sign reads, according to an image from CNN affiliate KING-TV in Seattle. The sign calls the homes "McMansions."

John Heller, president of Seattle Street of Dreams, said he had spoken to the fire chief and was told that the fires were suspicious. Watch fires burn luxury homes »

"My understanding is that it was an act of terror," Heller said.

The FBI said the fires are being investigated as an act of domestic terrorism.

Heller said he was out of town on business and was rushing back to see what was left of the development. He said it was a new subdivision that featured luxury homes priced at $2 million.

Video footage showed large grayish white plumes of smoke billowing in the air and firefighters trying to contain blazes in large homes in a heavily wooded area.

Eastman said there had been no injuries and there were no suspects. He told KING-TV that police and agents of the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives were investigating.

Seattle's Street of Dreams is "the most popular and highest attended single site luxury home and garden tour in the U.S.," according to the event's Web site.

According to the FBI, the Earth Liberation Front claimed responsibility for burning five townhomes under construction on November 20, 2005, in Hagerstown, Maryland. Fire officials investigating the scene determined that kerosene was used as the accelerant in the arson, the FBI said.

Last year, 10 people, including self-proclaimed members of the ELF and members of another organization called the Animal Liberation Front, were convicted for a string of arson fires that totaled more than $40 million in damage, according to an August statement by the U.S. Justice Department.

At that time, the court case was called the "largest ecoterrorism case in U.S. history," according to the statement.

Three others charged in the case are at large and considered international fugitives by the Justice Department

These people are nothing more than criminals.

We have had peoples SUV's (mind you, in average, not high income neighborhoods) tires slashed, both in Portland and in Seattle, as well as many of our logging companies around the NW know and have to routinely look for spikes set into tree's, in attempts to ruin loggers chain saw. However, those tactics have injured loggers before, and could kill them.

I firmly believe these are the same people who frequently protest in downtown Portland and Seattle, for just about everything that is normal and routine in most peoples lives.

My concern is, where will their hatred of mankind take them? What next, average people's homes and apartment complexes all because they believe that they are not "green enough"?

Americans need to fight illegal immigration as well as pushing our government to put these people behind bars. We cannot sit by idly and watch as these thugs attempt to sabotage everything in our country for their own political and socialistic agenda.

I had never heard of ELF so looked it up:

The Earth Liberation Front (ELF), also known as "Elves" or "The Elves",[1] is the collective name for anonymous and autonomous individuals or groups that, according to the now defunct Earth Liberation Front Press Office, use "economic sabotage and guerrilla warfare to stop the exploitation and destruction of the natural environment",[2] commonly known as ecotage or monkeywrenching.

Don't they consider the smoke from the arson fires as polluting the enviroment?

You'd think, huh? These people are nothing more than envirofreaks and anarchists. They hate anything that is normal and not within their realm of thinking, which is just about everything.

BTW, speaking of enviromentalism, did anyone here see Glenn Beck where he spoke about the supposed global warming and the fact that NOAA has their climate monitoring equipment located in totally ridiculous spots which would actually make the equipment appear to pick up higher than average temperatures? Here's the link: http://www.glennbeck.com/content/articl ... /196/6727/

Goes to show that it is a bunch of.......well you all know what. This is the kind of stuff that feeds the hatred of humanity to these people (ELF and the anarchists), they feed off of misinformation constantly.
