The millionaire attorney funding a ‘spoiled’ cheerleader’s lawsuit against her own parents let the teenager drink in his house, threw ‘alcoholic parties’ and apparently allowed her to have her first drop of booze, according to court documents.

When Rachel Canning was a 15-year-old freshman she got so drunk on vodka at Jon Inglesino’s home that she was sick all over the sidewalk and into a garbage can after her dad Sean picked her up for a basketball game.

And according to the Canning family, Inglesino’s wife Amy gave Rachel and her friends wine coolers in the back of a limo bound for New York on her daughter’s 15th birthday.

The claims ramp up the bitter battle between Sean and Elizabeth Canning and the Inglesino family, who are currently allowing Rachel to live with them and bankrolling her controversial lawsuit.

She is suing her parents for child maintenance, future college fees and legal bills after claiming they abandoned her. She has also accused her father of being physically abusive and her mother of calling her, ‘fat’ and ‘porky’, something which contributed to her developing bulimia.

The Cannings completely trashed the claims and have accused the Inglesino’s of enabling their daughter’s behavior and undermining their attempts to discipline her.

In an explosive hearing at Morris County Court, New Jersey on Tuesday Judge Peter Bogaard denied Rachel any immediate financial assistance and scheduled a secondary hearing for April 22.

Mr Inglesino was in court to support Rachel, who sat in between his two daughters Lauren and Jaime.

Prior to that both sides had submitted damning documents, containing sensational claims and counter claims.

And a significant part of the Canning’s testimony criticized high-powered attorney John Inglesino, 50, and his wife, 52 – whose daughter Jaime is best friends with Rachel.

On one excerpt Mr Canning, a former police chief from Lincoln Park, New Jersey, wrote: ‘The Inglesino household, according to Rachel in the past, is more lenient. She would often tell us how the Inglesino parents would allow alcoholic parties to be held at their house.

‘Rachel was angry because we would not host an alcoholic party. Rachel’s first time drinking alcohol was at the Inglesino house, in March of 2011 and on other occasions including their daughter’s 15th birthday where they have freely provided alcohol.

‘Rachel came home bragging saying that during the limo ride to NY, Mrs Inglesino gave all the girls wine coolers to drink. This type of behavior we did not condone.’

In another he wrote: ‘Rachel had been playing in numerous AAU basketball tournaments. One March 2011 morning, when Rachel was a freshman, I picked her up for the Inglesino household, after she had stayed the night, only to discover that she was hungover from a night of drinking vodka at the Inglesino home.

‘Upon arrival at the tournament, she threw up on the sidewalk and in a garbage can…’

Mr Inglesino is the managing partner at Inglesino, Wyciskala & Taylor, LLC, a 10-attorney firm in Parsippany, N.J.

He also serves on controversial Gov. Chris Christie’s School Funding Task Force, according to the DailyCaller.
So far he has refused to comment publicly, other than to say he is confident in Rachel’s legal argument. But in a written court submission, he justified he involvement.

He wrote: ‘Rachel is likeable, communicates exceptionally well and is highly motivated to attend and excel at a college appropriate for her. That is why my wife and I have decided to fund this lawsuit.

‘We know that if Mr and Mrs Canning are not required to fulfill their legal obligations as parents, that Rachel’s ability to fulfil her potential will be greatly diminished.’

That is completely refuted by Mr Canning, who wrote: ‘The Inglesino’s, while purporting to help, have actually been a tremendous hindrance in family healing….

‘The fact that she (Rachel) decided to run away and not abide by household rules is of her own volition and enabled by the Inglesino family who have arrogantly stated that their brand of parenting is somehow superior.

‘The fact the Inglesino family has subsidized a lawsuit, rather than providing responsible guidance in abiding by a parent’s ruled is not an acceptable society norm.’

The bitter rift between the Inglesinos and the Cannings is not the only example of families at war that has been played out in this hugely controversial case.

Yesterday MailOnline exclusively revealed that the family of Rachel’s boyfriend Lucas Kitzmiller are furious that he has been largely blamed for her becoming ‘obsessed with alcohol’ and getting suspended from school.

They also dragged his parents Jeffery and Lisa into the battle, saying they regularly brought the boozed-up pair home well after curfew, turning up at 3.30am on one occasion.

They gave Rachel an ultimatum that she had to either split up with her boyfriend, or move out. In one exchange between the Catholic high School girl and her father last November she wrote: 'Well I'm not coming home if I can't see him'.

Rachel refused to dump Lucas and actually moved in with his family for two nights, before relocating to the Inglesinos.

But Jeffery Kitzmiller defended his son and his wife, Lisa. He said: ‘My son has been painted in a questionable light by some of the comments from the Cannings.

'Their only experience of him is that he met the father long enough to shake hands. That's the only interaction they have ever had. They made their decision about him from that.

'If you read the court papers you can see the trend is with every boyfriend she's had it's always the boyfriend who's the bad influence. We have been dragged into this.’

Jeffery Kitzmiller said he did not want to go into greater detail in the defense of his son at this stage, but his family will get the chance to hit back when the case goes to court.

Rachel’s chances of winning against her parents look slim after Tuesday’s initial hearing, which saw Rachel’s pleas for immediate financial aid shot down in flames by Judge Bogaard.

He was incredibly vocal in his criticism of the high school student. After reading an expletive-laden and vicious answerphone message left by Rachel Canning, from Lincoln Park, New Jersey, to mother, Elizabeth, in which the girl said: 'I wanna s*** all over your face', he said: 'Have you ever in your experience seen such gross disrespect for a parent? I don’t see it in my house.’

The judge added that Rachel had given her mom and dad: ‘The proverbial f you’. He also warned he must consider the 'slippery slope' where 'we open the gates for a 12-year-old to sue for an Xbox, a 13-year-old to sue for an iPhone… what about a 15-year-old asking for a 60 inch TV?'
