Global Warming Alert! Scientists blame humans for warming, then admit there hasn’t been any



This is hilarious. The activists socialists scientists at the UN are like totally sure that so-called climate change (formerly global warming) is caused by humans, they just can’t explain why the Earth isn’t heating up.

Scientists are struggling to explain why global warming seems to have slowed down in the last decade in a leaked draft of the UN’s next big report on climate change.

The intergovernmental study claims scientists are 95 per cent sure that humans are to blame for climate change, but presently they have not come up with a unified reason for why global surface temperatures have not risen as predicted in the past 15 years.

According to the unpublished draft document, scientists believe volcanic ash, less heat from the sun and more heat being absorbed by oceans could explain the mystery.

If this isn’t further evidence that the so-called science behind AGW alarmism is flawed, I don’t know what is.

Think about this for a second. Scientists know that AGW is caused by humans, yet there has been no evidence of global warming at all in the past 15 years, much less AGW. In other words, there’s no problem, but if there were, scientists are pretty sure humans would be to blame. Look, if the same Scientists that are collectively 95% sure that humans are causing global warming don’t know why the Earth isn’t heating up, why should I believe the 95% statistic? At best, their original predictions were wrong. They have even admitted it with their excuses:

In other words, they were wrong.

But even if scientists have now found and corrected their mistakes, I have another, more pragmatic question:

What’s the problem? Wouldn’t it be a good thing if the Earth is capable of absorbing much more heat than the scientists originally thought? Shouldn’t it allow us to refrain from the insane, end-of-the-world, meltdown garbage all the time?

But there’s one thing about this article that disturbs me more than anything else. The article states that these UN scientists are working feverishly to try and explain why the Earth isn’t warming.

And while I obviously I have no problem with scientists verifying and correcting hypotheses, the article implies that they’re huddling up to try and form yet another global warming “consensus.”

This tells me that it’s not about science, it’s about a political agenda. After all, scientific fact doesn’t require consensuses, it requires data and evidence.

Let me state for the record that we at PRN are not necessarily climate change “skeptics” as some might malign us. We simply believe that real science doesn’t have an agenda. And if you can’t see that the study of the climate has been completely taken over by those with the sole purpose of using it for political purposes, you are blind.

Climate Depot response: 'Despite all the hype, the fine print of the report contradicts the meme of climate change is happening here and now. In reality, even the fine print is spinning the data, as on 50-100 year time scales, extreme weather trends show no trend or even declining trends. The fawning global warming enamored media will ignore this.'

'This report is a misdirection.

Obama has entered his second term lame duck status and with climate executive orders he does not need Congress to 'do something' about global warming.

This report is contrary to peer-reviewed studies and observations. By every measure, so called extreme weather is showing no trend or declining trends on 50-100 year timescales. Droughts, floods, tornadoes, hurricanes are not increasing due to man-made global warming.

Why does the report now call 'global warming' a new name, so-called 'climate disruption'? Simple answer: Due to earth's failure to warm -- no global warming for nearly 18 years - another name was necessary to attempt to gin up fear. Now every storm is offered up as some sort of 'proof' of global warming.

This report is pre-determined science. They chose scientists and activists who agreed with their climate narrative and they endorsed scary predictions of the future.

The origins of global warming lie in a cocktail of ideas which includes anti-industrial nature worship, post-colonial guilt, a post-Enlightenment belief in scientists as a new priesthood of the truth, a hatred of population growth, a revulsion against the widespread increase in wealth and a belief in world government.
