Gun Rights Advocate Alan Gottlieb Challenges Bill Gates To: ‘Put His Money Where His Mouth Is’

    August 27, 2014

Binaryloop | I've lived all over the US and found that most Americans love liberty but, get fooled into partisan politics. My goal is to wake people up and help them see it's not about left or right -- it's about freedom!

Gun rights advocate Alan Gottlieb, chairman of the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms, and a leading opponent of Initiative 594, today is publicly challenging billionaire gun control supporter Bill Gates to debate the measure, to which he just donated $1 million.

“It’s time for Gates to put his mouth where his money is,” Gottlieb said. “It’s one thing to be for background checks, but I-594 is poorly written bad law, and all the money in the world won’t make it better.”

Gates made headlines earlier this week when it was reported that he and his wife, Melinda, had contributed a million dollars to the campaign to pass I-594. That’s the 18-page gun control initiative that is opposed by rank-and-file law enforcement organizations representing more than 7,500 police and sheriffs’ deputies, plus the state’s sportsmen and women, competitors and gun collectors.

Gates is one of a handful of wealthy Seattle-area elitists who have shelled out big bucks to push this measure. The campaign has become a battle of class warfare, pitting the rich against Washington State’s far-less-privileged middle class firearms owners, and their families and friends.

“If Gates accepts,” Gottlieb said, “I expect him to explain why he thinks I-594 is such a hot idea when the Washington Council of Police and Sheriffs, and the Washington State Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors Association – the largest and most highly-respected law enforcement groups in the state – oppose the measure. He will also have to explain why both organizations emphatically support Initiative 591.

CCRKBA’S GOTTLIEB CHALLENGES GATES TO ‘PUT HIS MOUTH WHERE HIS MONEY IS!’

BELLEVUE, WA – Gun rights advocate Alan Gottlieb, chairman of the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms, and a leading opponent of Initiative 594, today is publicly challenging billionaire gun control supporter Bill Gates to debate the measure, to which he just donated $1 million.
“It’s time for Gates to put his mouth where his money is,” Gottlieb said. “It’s one thing to be for background checks, but I-594 is poorly written bad law, and all the money in the world won’t make it better.”

He will also have to explain why both organizations emphatically support Initiative 591.
“Bill Gates and his billionaire friends Paul Allen, Steve Ballmer and Nick Hanauer are using their riches in an effort to buy an election,” he continued. “They will purchase slick advertising, buy professional spokesmen and try to steamroll their opponents. But Gates should speak for himself, and be willing to defend his position one-on-one.
“Gates should also make sure that if he accepts, his bodyguards do not loan each other firearms, because that would be prohibited under the language of the gun control initiative he’s funding,” Gottlieb concluded. “I won’t bring bodyguards, because I don’t have any. My defense is the facts.”

With more than 650,000 members and supporters nationwide, the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms is one of the nation’s premier gun rights organizations. As a non-profit organization, the Citizens Committee is dedicated to preserving firearms freedoms through active lobbying of elected officials and facilitating grass-roots organization of gun rights activists in local communities throughout the United States. The Citizens Committee can be reached by phone at (425) 454-4911, on the Internet at www.ccrkba.org or by email to InformationRequest@ccrkba.org.

This is an old article but it show just are far they are getting on this wake up America!!!

Bill Gates Supports Fascism With His Money

He is teaming up with the fascist Bloomberg to stop people from smoking "around the globe." This is no private initiative. Bloomberg, as mayor of New York, is well-positioned to use government to make this happen.
The mayor’s initiative supports efforts to increase the tobacco tax, transform the glamorized image of tobacco, help people quit and protect nonsmokers from secondhand exposure.
The mayor’s initiative supports efforts to increase the tobacco tax, transform the glamorized image of tobacco, help people quit and protect nonsmokers from secondhand exposure.

"The reality is that all the money in the world will never eradicate tobacco use and that this problem is too big for any one person or organization to solve," Bloomberg said. "It’s going to take a sustained commitment by government, community organizations and the entire global health community, including those who fund it."
This article mentions countries where "something" has been done already, and in each case it’s a government law, somewhere, that does something to ban or discourage smoking. According to Bloomberg, a world without tobacco "is a world in which people live longer and have happier lives." Am I the only person who gets tired of reading this kind of crap? Who is Michael Bloomberg to judge other peoples’ happiness and determine what does or doesn’t make them happy? Does anyone else stop and note that we can’t possibly collectivize happiness? Of course, we are talking about a man who believes that a centralized government owns your life and is responsible for determining what you should or should not be doing with your life.

Bloomberg is perhaps one of the worst offenders of individual freedom who is currently in a political position to empower government at the expense of individuals. His perch atop NYC is bad enough, but he enjoys using his wads of money to fund interventionist government efforts around the globe to extend fascist government policies and crush individual liberties. Bloomberg loves power, and he loves to control everything around him, and so the stench of his rottenness has no end in sight.

Bill Gates and his wife give $1 million to gun control push

Microsoft founder Bill Gates and his wife Melinda have together donated $1 million to the Washington Alliance for Gun Responsibility, a gun control advocacy group, according to its most recent financial report with Washington State.

The contributions by the couple, who are now full-time philanthropists running the foundation bearing their names, are only the most recent big dollar donations from billionaires who made their fortunes from the software company.
Previously, Microsoft (MSFT, Tech30) co-founder Paul Allen gave $500,000 to the group, while recently retired Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer gave $250,000 and his wife Connie contributed $330,000.
It’s not just Microsoft billionaires throwing big bucks at the gun control campaign. Tech venture capitalist Nick Hanauer contributed an additional $1 million, according to the filing, on top of hisearlier contributions of $335,000.
All of them are billionaires who can easily afford the six- and seven-figure donations. Gates is the richest man in the world according to Forbes, with an estimated fortune worth $76 billion. Ballmer just paid a record $2 billion to buy the Los Angeles Clippers.
But the contributions by the tech billionaires make up a significant portion of the war chest the group has raised so far. It’s most recent report shows total contributions of $5.8 million.

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation gives away billions of dollars a year to generally less controversial recipients such as groups working to expand childhood immunization, combat poverty and hunger in the third world, and helping the poor to attend college. Gates himself makes relatively modest, and balanced, political contributions. According to the Center for Responsive Politics, he has given $15,000 each this year to both the Democratic and Republican committees seeking to elect members of the House and Senate.
The Alliance is backing a ballot measure in the state this November that would require background checks for all gun purchases in the state, including those made at gun shows and online. The measure is opposed by a local group known as Protect Our Gun Rights, which has raised $1.1 million and has its own measure on the ballot to try to block background checks.
