Most Haitians were born into this poverty-ridden country which has no infrastructure, no domestic products, no industry, little education, nothing but poverty - and which exists primarily on foreign aid and welfare from other countries. Any wealth that Haiti may have had, or money the country receives, has been stolen by their reclusive dictators to support a life of luxury for themselves and their families.
The damages were so extensive because their buildings were not built to withstand earthquakes. We should not be sinking more money into Haiti. Food, medical supplies and basic necessities are what are needed the most; but someone needs to make sure it goes to the people affected.

As long as their corrupt government syphons the money, for their own greed, they should get no money period.
