This is priceless.

I have been laughing most of the day about this, but I am also practical, so I am going through the closet to see which shoes I can sacrifice to throw to make a point if I need to. After all, the USSR's Nikita Krushchev gave a rousing speech at the UN during the Kennedy administration by pounding his shoe on the podium.
I have gained new respect for the power of the shoe, other than being just foot protection or fashion accessory. And they are much more practical than carrying around rotten raw eggs.

Let Bush and the rest of the know-nothings see the culture they think they are freeing...

In my best Austin Powers voice, "Who throws a shoe? I mean really!"

The video with this was the greatest thing I've seen this weekend. I'll bet Bush was a good dodgeball player.

The shoe is dirty and used to tread upon unclean things.

I just saw the video. That guy had a pretty good aim. If Bush hadn't ducked it would have whacked him square in the face.
Too bad the shoe launcher screamed like a school girl.

If you listen to the next segment after the screaming, they state that the journalist yelled as he threw the shoe, "This is farewell you dog."

I find it strange that he went over there this weekend....perhaps he is working on an oil deal.
